Big Food and its friends in the biotechnology industry haven\u2019t liked this one bit, and have spent over $80 million over the past several years to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodandwaterwatch.org\/food\/genetically-engineered-foods\/\"><span class=\"s1\">defeat GMO labeling<\/span><\/a> ballot initiatives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">If you\u2019ve been following the debate recently, you also know that companies like Monsanto have launched an aggressive PR campaign to sell the public on this <a href=\"http:\/\/foodtank.com\/news\/2015\/02\/the-war-on-genetically-modified-food-critics-et-tu-national-geographic\"><span class=\"s1\">questionable technology<\/span><\/a>.
