In his ongoing spat with Fox News personalities, British comedian Russell Brand risked arrest to seek entrance into the cable news network\u2019s New York headquarters to address Sean Hannity, who had cancelled a scheduled appearance by Brand on his Fox show.<\/p>\n
During the latest episode of \u2018The Trews\u2019 – Brand\u2019s webcast that has become his vehicle for criticizing the likes of Hannity<\/a> and fellow Fox News host Bill O\u2019Reilly<\/a> for content on their respective shows – the British comedian started by excoriating O\u2019Reilly for \u201chelping us become more Islamophobic.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Brand then played a clip of O\u2019Reilly\u2019s show, in which the host claimed 35 nations are governed by Sharia Law which, he said, was \u201ccontroversial, to say the least.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cNo, the least you could say, Bill, would be nothing at all,\u201d<\/em> Brand replied, \u201cand the world would be a better place.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Brand went on to examine how O\u2019Reilly was deceptively building a case to support his own bias against Islam, when security outside Fox News\u2019 headquarters approached the comedian.<\/p>\n
