The topic was \u201cUkraine: Is there a chance for de-escalation?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #2b1b17;\">As the fruits of the US interventionists continue to rot everywhere they are planted, I am afraid my critique was rather more pointed than my academic colleagues. But I did like the title given an article about the conference by one news organization present:\u00a0<a style=\"color: #1c1ca5;\">\u201cANALYSIS: US Misinterprets Foreign Policy Failures As Great Success.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #2b1b17;\">I enjoyed this part:<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"color: #2b1b17;\"><p>\u201cThe US, it pains me to say, is like a drunk on a ten year bender with alcohol.
