Something vaccine safety advocates have wondered about, and even questioned if it were possible, has been confirmed! It is the scientific engineering or genetic modification of viruses, especially influenza-like viruses, to make them lethal, more lethal, or transferrable between species. That Frankenstein-like quest has become public knowledge<\/span>,\u00a0and is being confronted by those who rightfully fear the consequences. One has to wonder if the so-called pandemic H1N1 Swine flu virus was a product of genetic engineering.<\/span>
\nBack in October of 2013, the European Society for Virology [ESV] sent a 5-page letter [1] to the President of the European Commission with four cc\u2019d copies to various EU Commission officials regarding the work of one particular research scientist, Ron Fouchier, about the H5N1 influenza virus and how the Fouchier group\u2019s research\u00a0\u201cshows that a few mutations can render H5N1, an avian virus, transmissible by aerosol between ferrets, which are used as the mammalian model to study the potential of pandemic spread of strains of influenza.\u201d<\/b>\u00a0Also, the work of Yoshihiro Kawaoka, of the University of Wisconsin regarding similar studies, was mentioned.<\/p>\n

The key issue seems to be:<\/p>\n

\n

<\/a>The U.S. National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) initially advised that these studies should not be published because\u00a0their results could be used to transform H5N1 into a bioweapon.<\/b>\u00a0However, in March 2012, the NSABB reversed its decision and advised in favor of publication of the papers, in line with the advice one month earlier from international influenza experts that assembled upon invitation by the WHO [World Health Organization]. [1] [CJF emphasis added]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, isn\u2019t that what genetic modification and engineering is all about? this writer feels compelled to ask. Isn\u2019t GE and GMO \u2018technology\u2019 the new god of science that creates organisms, which do not appear in Nature, that are intended to become patented assets for vested interests who apparently believe in and employ the Hegelian Dialectic principle, i.e., problem-reaction-solution?<\/div>\n

Here\u2019s how that principle apparently works.<\/b><\/p>\n

The\u00a0problem\u00a0<\/b>is caused by genetic modifications Nature wouldn\u2019t think up, but research science does. The\u00a0reaction\u00a0<\/b>is fear and outrage by society (or science) desperately wanting relief and for which science has the\u00a0solution\u00a0<\/b>in its back pocket, all while Big Pharma is only too happy and obliging to manufacture \u2014 a vaccine. Now do you see how it apparently works? Can that be the impetus for the more than 300 new vaccines that are on the drawing boards now? Will they be mandated by the U.S. HHS\/CDC\/FDA to be jabbed into everyone? Will we, under penalty of law, be mandated to get a vaccine a day because technology has lost its collective mind creating pandemic viruses and biologicals? How about\u00a0vaccines via drones<\/a>, as proposed by Bill Gates? Furthermore, when will science and technology be made to get a handle on their drive for inventing life-threatening creations?<\/p>\n

Or, will virus and biological genetic modification become similar to what happened early in the 20th century when physicians went hog-wild using children in orphanages and state-run-institutions in New York, Pennsylvania, and other states as human guinea pigs to further what had become the new sciences of \u201ceugenics\u201d and vaccinology?<\/p>\n

Originally, eugenics started out as the improvement of human gene pool to preclude and exclude birth anomalies, according to those who perpetuated it like Charles Benedict Davenport, \u201cAmerica\u2019s leading eugenicist\u201d. That horrible period in medical science is told in the 2013 book,\u00a0Against Their Will, The Secret History of Medical Experimentation on Children in Cold War America<\/a><\/i>. Healthcare consumers globally need to wake up to what\u2019s really going on in medicine!<\/p>\n

Deliberately making viral pathogens<\/b><\/p>\n

Even though the ESV letter is concerned with licenses on publishing research work, this writer is not concerned about that at all. What is of paramount concern to her is the deliberate tinkering with viruses to make them do things they ordinarily would not do if not tinkered with by technology, especially in the name of science and research. In this writer\u2019s opinion, that ought to be considered a crime against humanity, i.e., making a deliberately lethal biological or viral pathogen to harm and\/or kill animals and\/or humans for whatever reason(s), which usually are control and financial asset interests.<\/p>\n

Look what happened with the Fouchier research, according to the ESV letter:<\/p>\n

The H5N1 virus was transformed into an airborne pathogen!<\/b><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Furthermore, that letter talks about 90 viruses and microorganisms that can cause disease in humans, animals, and plants which, undoubtedly, will become researchers\u2019 genetic-engineering-dreams-come-true for fame and fortune\u2013all at the most likely cost of human suffering in more ways than one.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, the following taken from the ESV letter seems to confirm this writer\u2019s concerns:<\/p>\n

However, it has to be mentioned that, in this specific case, the \u201cgain of function\u201d was used to re-produce what nature already selected (as demonstrated by sequencing of field mutants) with the variation that the aim of the study was\u00a0to predict\/anticipate biological evolution and to provide us with critical information to specify preventive and therapeutic measures, e.g. the improved surveillance and proper evaluation of candidate vaccines<\/b>\u00a0and drugs. A bioterrorist organization (provided It has the facilities) could make a more powerful biological weapon (smallpox or botulin toxin) purely by a synthetic biology approach that exploits data already in the public domain without resorting to generate fancy virus mutants. [1] [CJF emphasis added]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Bioterrorism exists, perhaps, because science promotes it with genetic engineering research! Ever think of it that way? Humankind, including technology scientists, need to evaluate where technology is taking us because civilization can be sacked either by accident, inadvertent scientific snafus, or sheer and deliberate design. That apparently has happened before, as civilization is a continuum, which science and humans ought to consider seriously from some ancient civilizations\u2019 texts.<\/p>\n

Currently, we are living with such a technology nightmare. It\u2019s been utilized since the 1950s but no one knows how to handle its deadly wastes and byproducts, i.e., nuclear fission and the present meltdown of the reactor(s) at Fukushima, Japan.\u00a0(Source)<\/a><\/p>\n

In summing up the ESV\u2019s thoughts in its letter, these points probably need to be highlighted from this writer\u2019s viewpoint:<\/p>\n

Many advances in science can be misused and thus research can be seen as “dual use research”, with potentially positive and negative applications.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

It means that we need to carefully consider the potential benefits of such research and to take into consideration the risks linked to it, as in the case of this specific study on the H5N1 virus.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Although influenza virus has been the sole topic of discussion thus far, the issue relates to research on many pathogenic viruses, fungi and bacteria that are on the dangerous pathogen list.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Viruses are widespread in the biosphere, being able to infect humans, animals, plants, bacteria and viruses themselves. They are obligate intracellular parasites and by definition they are potentially pathogenic, especially when they acquire the possibility to jump from their natural host to a new one and become able to efficiently spread in the new species (as is the case for pandemic influenza virus). Thus, studies aimed to understand how a virus can acquire these features should not be judged only on the base of its hypothetical future use in the generation of a bio-terrorist weapon, because these studies are principally conducted to provide critical information to direct the development of efficient preventive and therapeutic approaches and to alert scientists and health officers in the fight against suddenly emerging natural health threats.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Quick Caveat:<\/b>\u00a0Prolific antibiotic use by medicine in humans, plus in farm animals to promote faster marketability, has led to life-threatening microorganisms that do not respond to what, at one time shortly after World War II, was considered \u201cstate of the art\u201d medicine \u2014 antibiotics!<\/p>\n

Regarding\u00a0\u201cespecially when they acquire the possibility to jump from their natural host to a new one and become able to efficiently spread in the new species (as is the case for pandemic influenza virus),\u201d<\/b>\u00a0readers ought to know that the 2009 pandemic virus H1N1 really had some interesting genetics. According to\u00a0Wikipedia<\/i>,<\/p>\n

In the\u00a02009 flu pandemic<\/a>, the\u00a0virus<\/a>\u00a0isolated from patients in the United States<\/b>\u00a0was found to be made up of\u00a0genetic elements from four different flu viruses<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 North American\u00a0swine influenza<\/b>, North American\u00a0avian influenza, human influenza,<\/b>and\u00a0swine influenza virus typically found in Asia and Europe<\/b>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0“an\u00a0unusuallymongrelised<\/a>\u00a0mix of genetic sequences.”<\/b>[20]<\/a>\u00a0This new strain appears to be a result of\u00a0reassortment<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0human influenza<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0swine influenza<\/a>\u00a0viruses, in all four different strains of subtype H1N1. [2]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

One has to wonder how different strains of subtypes of flu virus genetic elements from three different global locations can\u00a0reassort\u00a0themselves into something new. Magic? Realistically, it probably became easier with some help from a researcher in a genetic engineering lab, one has to assume. Reassortment of influenza strains, especially from various locales \u2018worlds apart\u2019 and from different species is something of a stretch, especially when it involves human, avian (bird), and swine influenza viruses. That kind of multi-tasking genetics jumping just does not happen very easily in Nature, which puts one in mind of another equally questionable vaccine canard: multi-valent vaccines, i.e., several disease actives in one vaccine (ex., DPT or MMR).<\/p>\n

It is humanly impossible for anyone to be exposed to\u2013and to contract\u20133, 6, or 9 different diseases at one time \u2014 that just cannot happen anywhere on earth! Yet, vaccine science dictates that an infant or toddler should be vaccinated with 3, 6, or 9 disease actives in vaccines all at one time thereby putting a humongous stress on the immune system to create antigen responses to each disease, which pharmacology and medicine then consider as \u2018immunity\u2019 created by those vaccines.<\/p>\n

In essence, a child\u2019s body and immune system are dealing with\u00a0creating multiple antigen immune responses simultaneously to all those diseases<\/i>, something that cannot happen in ordinary life, living, and Nature, exclusive of vaccine inoculations. Most children\u2019s bodies cannot multitask that efficiently, especially in detoxifying toxins in vaccines, so adverse reactions [read vaccine package insert information for reactions and contraindications, plus study the CDC\u2019s VAERS reports] usually occur \u2014 anything from minor to catastrophic. A perfect example of a vaccine reaction is the \u201cscreaming fit\u201d that vaccinated children experience for days, which somehow are considered \u2018normal\u2019 by health professionals.<\/p>\n

Now, can readers understand why vaccines cannot be considered safe? Furthermore, not every vaccine ingredient is tested for safety, carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, or the ability to interfere with fertility and reproduction, as is stated unabashedly on vaccine package inserts.<\/p>\n

Similar issues can and probably will happen from man-made pandemic influenza viruses due to the un-natural and lethal reassortment scientists \u2018create\u2019, plus the use of more potent vaccine adjuvants, which may include nanoparticles. Nanoparticles probably will be inserted into new vaccines to produce the desired antigen responses to newly-created virus(es) vaccines.<\/p>\n

Perhaps these new and \u201cemerging natural health threats\u201d would not become a reality\u00a0IF<\/b><\/i>\u00a0science and technology were not so anxious to patent new organisms and Big Pharma\u2019s \u2018remedial\u2019 vaccines or biologicals that then become the eventual solution to the \u201cproblem-reaction-solution\u201d control mechanism that\u2019s being employed dramatically, it seems, since the turn of the 21st century.<\/p>\n

Personally, I thank Professor Palu for his letter of concern; however, I do believe we differ with regard to how technology and science ought to be held accountable for its monkeying around with Nature, especially since science, technology, and human nature have not learned any lessons from opening Pandora\u2019s nuclear fission box.<\/p>\n

As a result, the planet, humans, animals, sea creatures, and the atmosphere are inextricably compromised because of a \u2018science\u2019 that was too gung-ho, while not enough caution was exercised before unleashing nuclear technology into mainstream medicine, electric power generation, warfare, food irradiation, etc. without correct and effective disposal and safety mechanisms. As a result, will we have to deal with the making of metal eating utensils from nuclear wastes?<\/p>\n
