Las fuerzas armadas los E.E.U.U. han estado utilizando tortura indistintamente, un grupo de los derechos humanos cargado lunes.
“Por otra parte, más de 100.000 páginas de los documentos del gobierno lanzaron en respuesta [] a libertades civiles americanas que la libertad de la unión [un ACLU] de la petición del acto de la información revela que un patrón penetrante y systemic de las técnicas ásperas de la interrogación ha sido utilizado por el personal militar indistintamente en la bahía de Iraq, de Afganistán y de Guantánamo,” el ACLU dicho en una declaración lunes.
“Los documentos incluyen evidencia que han batido a los detainees; forzado en posiciones dolorosas de la tensión; amenazado con muerte; humillado sexual y religioso; stripped naked; hooded and blindfolded; exposed to extreme heat and cold; denied food and water; isolated for prolonged periods; subjected to mock drownings; and intimated by dogs,” the group said.
The ACLU and other human rights groups hope that the Democratic-controlled 110th Congress will act on their reports to rein in the Bush administration and force it to change its interrogation policies. Congress has already stepped up its efforts to monitor such secret activities in the war on terror.
