Just the fact that RUMSFELD tried too make torture legal in the first place to me is abhorant , never mind just thinking about it . It is well known that WATERBOARDING is in common usage , that is where a persons is strapped to a board and their face is covered with a hood and then water is poured on them so in effect the persons lungs fill with water and they start to drown in under 3mins . This was first used on US special opps too show them what would happen if they were captured by an enemy that had no respect for the GENEVA CONVENTION . Although the administration denies that they are doing this there are just too many whistleblowers to not take these accounts very seriousely indeed . Torture does not work as after a couple of WATERBOARDING sessions you will swear an oath that you had been on the surface of the sun and survived , in fact you will say anything just to stay alive so these testomonies that are gathered in this manner cannot be relied upon . Any administration that is prepaird to use these techniques in my mind are the worst form of scum . As they have no respect for HUMAN LIFE never mind HUMAN RIGHTS! .

Sounds like it might be worth a read . While i myself am not a pacifist i think that there is a big difference between legitimately defending ones country within the letter of international law and the blatant abuse of said law too include torture and human rights infringemants ! . While it is true that the laws have been made by man , it does not alter the fact that these laws indeed do exist for a reason and that reason and international law must be followed or it makes a mockery of the law and that mean not meaning too insult the animal kingdom ) . BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS MUST BE UPHELD AT ALL TIMES AND THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR IT TOO BE OTHERWISE !!! .
