Having lost every attempt in the previous year to limit Bush’s hand in Iraq, Democrats quickly gave up their effort to force a timeline for troop withdrawals and focused their efforts on a domestic agenda. وبعد ان فقدت كل محاولة في السنة السابقة للحد من يد بوش في العراق ، سرعان ما تخلى الديموقراطيين جهودها الراميه الى القوة جدول زمني لانسحاب القوات وركزت جهودها على جدول الاعمال المحلي.
