De dramatische daling in geweld in Irak is gepast in groot deel aan een geheim programma de V.S. militair heeft gebruikt om terroristen, volgens een nieuw boek door Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Bob Woodward te doden.

Het programma - dat Woodward bij het Project vergelijkt van de eraManhattan van de Wereldoorlog II dat de atoombom ontwikkelde - moet voor nu geheim blijven of het zou „mensen gedood krijgen,“ Woodward bovengenoemde Maandag op Levende de Koning Larry van CNN.
