Also, I feel us Canadians have more options than other countries to take on the responsibilities of issues like this as if it was happening in our own backyards. If everyone started to do more than just feel bad for what is going on in the world, with some time if we continue a ripple effect of change will soon follow. Our systems have been built for us not to question why things are the current way they are. If the people in power have done so much to change the worlds percieved reality then there is nothing wrong with trying to take it back from them. The system itself forces others within your society to criticise you for such things. Now more than ever is the time to start asking questions about why things are the way they are and whenever given the oppertunity to make peaceful change comes about you have done something not for yourself only, when added to the ripples it will effect the whole world. Nor should it be allowed once more to shame the human race by being conveniently overlooked for once again! Shame on those who saw Hitler's Final Solution an did nothing, said nothing.....shame on us all if we allow it again! my thoughts are with those in Gaza tonight, I am sorry this is not the first time I have had reason to feel this way!
