I made considerable efforts to draw the attention of The Guardian and other newspapers to the extraordinary fact that the words coming out of the Prime Minister’s mouth were at variance with what was published on the MI5 website. أنا بذلت جهودا كبيرة للفت انتباه الجارديان وغيرها من الصحف غير العادية لحقيقة أن الكلمات تخرج من فم رئيس الوزراء على خلاف مع ما نشر على موقع MI5. International Terrorism: Impact of Iraq الإرهاب الدولي : أثر العراق

Lest there is any doubt that the intelligence services have long held the view that invading Iraq increased the terrorist threat to Britain, listen to this from a Joint Intelligence Committee (JIC) assessment entitled International Terrorism: Impact of Iraq dated April 2005, extracts of which were published in The Sunday Times on 2 April 2006: خشية أن هناك أي شك في أن أجهزة الاستخبارات منذ فترة طويلة ورأت أن غزو العراق زادت من التهديدات الارهابية لبريطانيا ، للاستماع إلى هذا من للجنة المشتركة للاستخبارات) تقييم الإرهاب الدولي بعنوان : أثر من العراق مؤرخة في نيسان / أبريل 2005 ، ومقتطفات من الذي ونشرت في صحيفة صنداي تايمز في 2 نيسان / أبريل 2006 :
