Baghdad, 27 Nov. (AKI) - Thousands of Iraqis detained by US forces will be at risk of torture or even execution if they are handed over to the Iraqi authorities, top rights Amnesty International warned on Friday. بغداد ، 27 نوفمبر (ا ف ب) -- تظاهر الالاف من العراقيين الذين تحتجزهم القوات الامريكية سيكون في خطر التعرض للتعذيب أو حتى الإعدام إذا ما تم تسليمهم الى السلطات العراقية ، وكبار الإنسان حذرت منظمة العفو الدولية يوم الجمعة. The warning came as the Iraqi Parliament overwhelmingly ratified a controversial security pact with the US under which around 16,000 prisoners held by the US will be transferred to Iraqi custody from the end of the year. وجاء هذا التحذير في البرلمان العراقي باغلبية ساحقة صدقت على معاهدة أمنية مثيرة للجدل مع الولايات المتحدة التي حول 16000 السجناء الذين تحتجزهم الولايات المتحدة ستنقل الى السلطات العراقية من نهاية السنة. The pact (Status of Forces Agreement or SOFA) allows American troops to remain in the country for three more years. الاتفاق (اتفاق مركز القوات أو اتفاق مركز القوات) تسمح القوات الامريكية على البقاء في البلد لمدة ثلاث سنوات.
