An Iranian commander has revealed that France had plans to equip Saddam Hussein with nuclear weapons during the Iraq-imposed war on Iran. قائد ايرانى قد كشفت عن ان فرنسا لديها خطط لتزويد صدام حسين مع اسلحه نوويه اثناء الحرب التي فرضها العراق على ايران.
According to General Mir-Feisal Baqerzadeh, the now retired French general and former intelligence official, Philippe Rondot, had made the offer to the Iraqi Baathist regime during a visit to the country as an advisor to the French prime minister . ووفقا لعامة مير - feisal baqerzadeh ، الآن متقاعد الفرنسية العام ومسؤول المخابرات السابق ، فيليب rondot ، قدمت العرض الى النظام البعثي العراقي خلال زيارة قام بها الى هذا البلد كمستشار لرئيس الوزراء الفرنسي.
Baqerzadeh made the remark citing a document registered at the defense ministry of the former Iraqi Baathist regime dated April 20, 1987. Baqerzadeh جعلت ملاحظه مستشهدا الوثيقة مسجلة في وزارة الدفاع من النظام البعثي العراقي السابق مؤرخة 20 نيسان / ابريل ، 1987.
The document was prepared by the Iraqi General Adnan Khairallah reporting to Saddam about his meeting with the visiting Rondot, said the Iranian general. واعدت هذه الوثيقة من جانب العراقي عدنان العام khairallah الابلاغ عن صدام لقائه مع زائره rondot ، قال الايراني العام.

For his part, Khairallah briefed Rodot on the vast amount of satellite-based information on the Iranian military formations made available to the Iraqi side by the US. من جهته ، khairallah اطلع rodot على الكميه الهاءله من المعلومات الساتليه على التشكيلات العسكرية الايرانيه التي اتيحت الى الجانب العراقي من قبل الولايات المتحدة.
Based on the document, the former French general emphasized the advisability of occupying Iranian cities, with particular reference to the southwestern city of Abadan. واستنادا الى الوثيقة ، واكد الفرنسي السابق العام استحسان احتلال المدن الايرانيه ، مع الاشارة بصفة خاصة الى الجنوب الغربي من مدينة عبادان.
Baqerzadeh says that Rondot also spoke of his ‘effective’ role in persuading the French authorities to provide Iraq with Mirage aircraft and Ronald missiles. Baqerzadeh يقول ان rondot تكلم ايضا من بلدة 'فعالة' دور في اقناع السلطات الفرنسية الى تقديم العراق مع سراب الطائرات والصواريخ رونالد.
According to the document, the French had been looking at the possibility of giving Iraq ‘a very small type’ of nuclear weapon. ووفقا لهذه الوثيقة ، والفرنسية قد تبحث في امكانيه اعطاء العراق 'صغير جدا نوع' للسلاح النووي. It is underlined in the document that the matter must be kept confidential. ومن ابرز في الوثيقة ان هذه المساله يجب ان تظل سرية.
Rondot is reported in the document as having told Khairallah that possessing such a weapon, despite its being small, would be necessary and effective in helping Iraq impose its conditions on Iran. Rondot يرد في الوثيقة بأنها khairallah قال إن امتلاك مثل هذه الاسلحة ، على الرغم من كونها صغيرة ، وسيكون من الضرورى والفعال في مساعدة العراق على فرض شروطها على ايران.
