AP | Medical examinations of former terrorism suspects held by the US military at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, found evidence of torture and other abuse that resulted in serious injuries and mental disorders, according to a human rights group. أ ب | من الفحوص الطبية السابقة التي عقدت المشتبه فيهم بالارهاب من قبل الولايات المتحدة العسكرية في سجن ابو غريب في العراق وخليج غوانتانامو ، كوبا ، وجدت ادلة على التعذيب وغيره من سوء المعامله التي ادت الى اصابات خطيرة واضطرابات عقليه ، وفقا لمجموعة حقوق الانسان.
For the most extensive medical study of former US detainees published so far, Physicians for Human Rights had doctors and mental health professionals examined 11 former prisoners. بالنسبة لأكثر من دراسة واسعة النطاق الطبي الاميركي السابق المعتقلين نشرت حتى الآن ، واطباء من اجل حقوق الانسان والاطباء والمهنيين العاملين في مجال الصحة العقليه درس 11 السجناء السابقين. The group alleges finding evidence of US torture and war crimes and accuses US military health professionals of allowing the abuse of detainees, denying them medical care and providing confidential medical information to interrogators that they then exploited. مجموعة تدعى العثور على الادله من الولايات المتحدة والتعذيب وجرائم الحرب ويتهم المهنيين العاملين في مجال الصحة العسكرية الامريكية السماح لسوء معاملة المحتجزين ، وحرمانهم من الرعايه الطبية وتوفير سرية المعلومات الطبية الى المستجوبين انهم يستغلون ذلك الحين.
“Some of these men really are, several years later, very severely scarred,” said Barry Rosenfeld, a psychology professor at Fordham University who conducted psychological tests on six of the 11 detainees covered by the study. The report came as the Senate Armed Services Committee revealed documents showing military lawyers warned the Pentagon that methods it was using post-9/11 violated military, US and international law. وكما جاء في تقرير مجلس الشيوخ لجنة القوات المسلحه كشفت وثائق تبين للمحامين العسكريين وحذر البنتاغون ان الاساليب التي تستخدم ما بعد انتهاك العسكرية ، والولايات المتحدة والقانون الدولي. Those objections were overruled by the top Pentagon lawyer. هذه الاعتراضات تم تجاوزها بقرار من اعلى البنتاغون محام.

Seven were held in Abu Ghraib between late 2003 and summer of 2004, a period that coincides with the known abuse of prisoners at the hands of some of their American jailers. سبعة وعقدت في أبو غريب بين أواخر عام 2003 وصيف عام 2004 ، وهى فترة تتزامن مع اساءة استعمال الأسرى المعروف على ايدي بعض حراس السجن الامريكى. Four of the prisoners were held at Guantanamo beginning in 2002 for one to almost five years. اربعة من السجناء في غوانتانامو عقدت بدءا من عام 2002 الى ما يقرب من واحد لخمس سنوات. Those examined alleged that they were tortured or abused, including sexually, and described being shocked with electrodes, beaten, shackled, stripped of their clothes, deprived of food and sleep, and spit and urinated on. وادعى ان تلك درست انهم تعرضوا للتعذيب او سوء المعامله ، بما فيها عن طريق الاتصال الجنسي ، ويجري وصفها مع بالصدمة الكهرباءيه والضرب ومقيد ، وجردوا من ملابسهم ، والحرمان من الطعام والنوم ، والبصق على ومتبول.
The abuse of some prisoners by their American captors is well documented by the government’s own reports. اساءة معاملة السجناء من قبل بعض الخاطفين الامريكى موثقه جيدا من قبل الحكومة التقارير الخاصة بها. The US military says an al-Qaida training manual instructs members, if captured, to assert they were tortured during interrogation. العسكرية الامريكية ويقول تدريب تابعة لتنظيم القاعده دليل تعليمات الى أعضاء ، وإذا أسر ، ليؤكدون انهم تعرضوا للتعذيب أثناء الاستجواب.

Most former detainees are out of reach of Western doctors because they are either in Iraq or have been returned to their home countries from Guantanamo. معظم المعتقلين السابقين ليست هناك امكانيه للتوصل الاطباء الغربية لانهم سواء في العراق او اعيدوا الى بلدانهم الاصليه من غوانتانامو.
