Bush the last war-funding bill of his presidency without any of the conditions they sought for withdrawing US troops, congressional aides said on Monday. | الديموقراطيون في الكونغرس ، من وصل الى السلطة في العام الماضي على الدعوة لانهاء القتال في العراق ، قريبا اعطاء الرئيس جورج دبليو بوش الحرب الأخيرة - مشروع قانون التمويل من رئاسته دون ان يكون أي من الشروط التي سعت لسحب القوات الامريكية ، وقال مساعدون في الكونغرس يوم الاثنين.
Lawmakers are arranging to send Bush $165 billion in new money for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, enough to last for about a year and well beyond when Bush leaves office on January 20. المشرعون هي ترتيب بوش لارسال 165 مليار دولار في اموال جديدة للحروب في العراق وافغانستان ، أي ما يكفي لآخر لمدة عام تقريبا ، وتتجاوز كثيرا عندما يترك بوش منصبه في 20 كانون الثاني / يناير.

A House of Representatives vote on the war-funding bill was expected this week. ا النواب التصويت على مشروع قانون تمويل الحرب - وكان من المتوقع هذا الاسبوع. Anything the House passes would have to be approved by the Senate before the legislation is sent to Bush. منزل يمر أي شيء يتعين ان توافق من قبل مجلس الشيوخ قبل التشريع ارسلت الى بوش.
With the Pentagon running out of money to continue fighting the two wars, Congress is trying to approve new funds before its July 4 holiday recess. مع البنتاغون ينفد من المال للاستمرار في القتال الحربين ، ويحاول الكونغرس الموافقة على تخصيص اموال جديدة قبل العطله فى 4 يوليو.
With this bill, Congress will have written checks for more than $800 billion to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, with most of the money going to Iraq. مع هذا القانون ، وسيكون المؤتمر الشيكات الخطيه لأكثر من 800 بليون دولار لتمويل الحروب في العراق وافغانستان ، مع معظم الاموال الذهاب الى العراق.
Since January, 2007, when Democrats took majority control of the House and Senate, they have tried to force Bush to change course in Iraq, mostly through troop withdrawal timetables and requirements that US soldiers be more thoroughly trained, equipped and rested before returning to combat. منذ كانون الثاني / يناير 2007 ، عندما اتخذ معظم الديموقراطيين من السيطرة على مجلس النواب ومجلس الشيوخ ، فقد حاولت قوة لبوش لتغيير المسار في العراق ، معظمها من خلال وضع جداول زمنيه لانسحاب القوات والاحتياجات من ان الجنود الاميركيين اكثر شمولا مدربه ومجهزه واستراحات وقبل ان تعود الى مكافحة .

The result is that the 110th Congress will wrap up most of its work this fall, before November’s congressional and presidential elections, without forcing any changes to Bush’s open-ended war policy, the defining issue of his presidency. والنتيجة هي ان 110 وسيكون المؤتمر بتلخيص معظم عملها في خريف هذا العام ، في تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر قبل انتخابات الرئاسة والكونغرس ، دون ان يضطر الى اجراء اي تغييرات بوش مفتوح العضويه لسياسات الحرب ، فإن مسألة تحديد فترة رئاسته.
Anti-war Democrats instead are looking to Bush’s successor, hoping it is fellow-Democrat Barack Obama, to bring at least some of the 147,000 US troops home from Iraq. المناهضه للحرب بدلا من الديمقراطيين يتطلعون الى الخلف بوش ، على أمل انه زميل - الديموقراطي باراك اوباما ، لتحقيق البعض على الاقل من 147000 الصفحه الرئيسية للقوات الامريكية من العراق.
Speaking to reporters in Michigan where he was campaigning, Obama said he was “encouraged” by the reduction in violence in Iraq, but underlined the importance of beginning “the process of withdrawing US troops.” متحدثا الى الصحافيين في ميشيغان حيث كان في الحملات الانتخابية ، وقال اوباما انه "التشجيع" من تخفيض في اعمال العنف في العراق ، ولكنه أكد على أهمية بدء "عملية سحب القوات الامريكية."
John McCain, the Republican candidate for president, has backed Bush’s opposition to Congress setting timetables. جون ماكين ، المرشح الجمهوري للرئيس ، وقد دعمت المعارضة بوش الى الكونغرس تحديد جداول زمنيه.
Democrats enter this campaign season poised to expand their House and Senate majorities. الديمقراطيون دخول هذه الحملة الموسم على اهبة الاستعداد لتوسيع نطاق المنزل والاغلبيه في مجلس الشيوخ.
Instead of Iraq being the dominant issue this campaign season, it has been the US economy, jolted by skyrocketing energy prices and mounting home foreclosures, that has gotten most of the attention. بدلا من ان العراق يجري القضية المهيمنه في هذه الحملة الموسم ، فقد كان الاقتصاد الامريكى ، مرجوج من قبل لتقفز أسعار الطاقة المتصاعده والتعويقات الصفحه الاولى ، التي بدأت معظم الاهتمام.
The war-spending bill has been the staging ground for a Democratic initiative to expand domestic unemployment benefits, in addition to the added veterans benefits. الحرب - مشروع قانون الانفاق وكان انطلاق لمبادره لتوسيع نطاق الديمقراطيه المحلية اعانات البطاله ، بالاضافة الى المنافع واضاف قدامى المحاربين.
