The European Parliament has backed proposals to set up a European Visa Information System (VIS) and create the world’s largest biometric database, holding 70 million sets of fingerprints.欧洲议会支持的建议，成立一个欧洲签证信息系统（可见） ，并创建世界上最大的生物识别数据库，持有7000万套指纹。
