Details of ships where detainees have been held and sites allegedly being used in countries across the world have been compiled as the debate over detention without trial intensifies on both sides of the Atlantic. تفاصيل السفن حيث تم عقد المعتقلين ويدعى ان المواقع التي تستخدم في بلدان فى جميع انحاء العالم وقد تم تجميع ما يزيد على المناقشه والاحتجاز دون محاكمة ، ويكثف على جانبي الاطلسي. The US government was yesterday urged to list the names and whereabouts of all those detained. الولايات المتحدة تحث الحكومة أمس إلى قائمة أسماء وأماكن وجود جميع المحتجزين.
Information about the operation of prison ships has emerged through a number of sources, including statements from the US military, the Council of Europe and related parliamentary bodies, and the testimonies of prisoners. معلومات عن تشغيل السفن السجن برز من خلال عدد من المصادر ، بما فيها بيانات من الولايات المتحدة العسكرية ، ومجلس اوروبا والهيئات البرلمانيه ذات الصلة ، وشهادات السجناء.

It is the use of ships to detain prisoners, however, that is raising fresh concern and demands for inquiries in Britain and the US. ومن استخدام السفن لاحتجاز السجناء ، غير ان ذلك يثير القلق ومطالب جديدة لتحقيقات في بريطانيا والولايات المتحدة.
According to research carried out by Reprieve, the US may have used as many as 17 ships as “floating prisons” since 2001. وحسب البحث الذي اجراه التنفيس ، والولايات المتحدة قد استخدمت ما يصل الى 17 السفن "السجون العاءمه" منذ عام 2001. Detainees are interrogated aboard the vessels and then rendered to other, often undisclosed, locations, it is claimed. استجواب المحتجزين على متن السفن ، ثم تقدم الى اخرى ، لم يكشف عنها في كثير من الاحيان ، المواقع ، ومن المطالب بها.
Ships that are understood to have held prisoners include the USS Bataan and USS Peleliu. السفن التي قد تفهم على انها احتجزت اسرى تشمل يو اس اس يو اس اس باتان وpeleliu. A further 15 ships are suspected of having operated around the British territory of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, which has been used as a military base by the UK and the Americans. اخر 15 سفن يشتبه في ان لهم البريطانية تعمل في جميع انحاء اراضي دييغو غارسيا في المحيط الهندي ، الذي يستخدم كقاعده عسكرية من جانب المملكه المتحدة والاميركيين.
Reprieve will raise particular concerns over the activities of the USS Ashland and the time it spent off Somalia in early 2007 conducting maritime security operations in an effort to capture al-Qaida terrorists. وسوف يثير في التنفيس عن مخاوف من انشطه يو اس اس آشلاند والوقت الذي تنفق من الصومال في أوائل عام 2007 اجراء عمليات الامن البحرى فى محاولة لإلقاء القبض على تنظيم القاعده الارهابيين.
At this time many people were abducted by Somali, Kenyan and Ethiopian forces in a systematic operation involving regular interrogations by individuals believed to be members of the FBI and CIA. في هذا الوقت كان كثير من الناس اختطفوا من قبل الصوماليه ، والقوات الاثيوبيه والكينيه في عملية تنطوي على منهجيه منتظمة الاستجوابات التي يقوم بها الافراد الذين يعتقد انهم اعضاء في وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية ومكتب التحقيقات الاتحادي. Ultimately more than 100 individuals were “disappeared” to prisons in locations including Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Guantánamo Bay. في نهاية المطاف اكثر من 100 شخصا "اختفوا" الى سجون في المواقع بما فيها كينيا والصومال واثيوبيا وجيبوتي وخليج غوانتانامو.
Reprieve believes prisoners may have also been held for interrogation on the USS Ashland and other ships in the Gulf of Aden during this time. ويعتقد التنفيس السجناء قد عقدت ايضا للاستجواب على يو اس اس آشلاند وغيرها من السفن في خليج عدن خلال هذه الفترة.
The Reprieve study includes the account of a prisoner released from Guantánamo Bay, who described a fellow inmate’s story of detention on an amphibious assault ship. فان التنفيس وتشتمل الدراسه على حساب اسير افرج عنه من خليج غوانتانامو ، ووصف من زميله السجين حكايه الاعتقال والاعتداء على السفينة البرماءيه. “One of my fellow prisoners in Guantánamo was at sea on an American ship with about 50 others before coming to Guantánamo … he was in the cage next to me. "واحد من زملائي السجناء في غوانتانامو كان في البحر على السفينة الاميركية مع حوالى 50 اخرين قبل القدوم الى غوانتانامو… لأنه كان في القفص القادم لي. He told me that there were about 50 other people on the ship. قال لي إن كان هناك ما يقرب من 50 أشخاص آخرين على متن السفينة. They were all closed off in the bottom of the ship. انها كلها كانت اغلقت في الجزء السفلي من السفينة. Andrew Tyrie, the Conservative MP who chairs the all-party parliamentary group on extraordinary rendition, called for the US and UK governments to come clean over the holding of detainees. Greater transparency will provide increased confidence that President Bush’s departure from justice and the rule of law in the aftermath of September 11 is being reversed, and can help to win back the confidence of moderate Muslim communities, whose support is crucial in tackling dangerous extremism.” وسوف توفر قدر أكبر من الشفافيه وزيادة الثقة في ان الرئيس بوش الخروج عن العدالة وسيادة القانون في اعقاب 11 ايلول / سبتمبر ويجري عكسه ، ويمكن ان يساعد على اعادة كسب ثقة المجتمعات الاسلامية المعتدله ، الذي هو دعم حاسم في التصدي لخطر التطرف ".
The Liberal Democrat’s foreign affairs spokesman, Edward Davey, said: “If the Bush administration is using British territories to aid and abet illegal state abduction, it would amount to a huge breach of trust with the British government. الليبرالى الديموقراطى المتحدث باسم الشؤون الخارجية ، ادوارد Davey ، وقال : "اذا كانت ادارة بوش باستخدام الاراضي البريطانية لتقديم المساعدة والتحريض على اختطاف غير المشروع للدولة ، الى مبلغ ضخم خيانة الامانة مع الحكومة البريطانية. Ministers must make absolutely clear that they would not support such illegal activity, either directly or indirectly.” وزراء يجب ان من الواضح تماما انها لن دعم هذا النشاط غير المشروع ، اما بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر. "
A US navy spokesman, Commander Jeffrey Gordon, told the Guardian: “There are no detention facilities on US navy ships.” However, he added that it was a matter of public record that some individuals had been put on ships “for a few days” during what he called the initial days of detention. الولايات المتحدة متحدث باسم البحرية ، قائد جيفري غوردون ، قال الجارديان : "ليست هناك مرافق الاحتجاز على سفن القوات البحرية الامريكية." لكنه اضاف ان الامر في السجل العام أن بعض الأفراد قد وضع على متن السفن "لبضعة ايام "ما اسماه خلال الايام الاولى من الاحتجاز. The Foreign Office referred to David Miliband’s statement last February admitting to MPs that, despite previous assurances to the contrary, US rendition flights had twice landed on Diego Garcia. وزارة الخارجية ديفيد المشار اليها miliband البيان الذي ادلى به في شباط / فبراير الماضي على النواب ان نعترف انه على الرغم من تأكيدات سابقة على العكس من ذلك ، أداء الرحلات الجوية الامريكية قد هبطت على مرتين في دييغو غارسيا. He said he had asked his officials to compile a list of all flights on which rendition had been alleged. وقال انه طلب مزيدا من المسؤولين الى تجميع قائمة على جميع الرحلات الجوية التى تم اداء المزعومه.
CIA “black sites” are also believed to have operated in Thailand, Afghanistan, Poland and Romania. سي آي إي "المواقع السوداء" ويعتقد ايضا ان تعمل في تايلند ، وافغانستان ، وبولندا ورومانيا.
In addition, numerous prisoners have been “extraordinarily rendered” to US allies and are alleged to have been tortured in secret prisons in countries such as Syria, Jordan, Morocco and Egypt. وبالاضافة الى ذلك ، كان العديد من السجناء "غير عادي اصدرت" لحلفاء الولايات المتحدة ويزعم انهم تعرضوا للتعذيب في سجون سرية في بلدان مثل سوريا والاردن والمغرب ومصر.
