UK Police Harrass Youths الشرطة harrass الشباب في المملكه المتحدة

When the four boys emerged from the estate’s maze of alleyways, the patrol car was waiting. الاولاد الاربعة عندما خرجت من الحوزه متاهات الحارات ، وكانت في انتظار سيارة الدوريه. “Is this that operation, sir?” said one boy. Operation Leopard is the latest weapon in the fight against antisocial behaviour to receive government backing. عملية النمر هي احدث سلاح في الكفاح ضد السلوك المعادي للحكومة في الحصول على المسانده. Pioneered by officers in Essex policing difficult estates, it deploys forward intelligence teams (FITs) - units trained to gather evidence at foxhunts, protests and football matches - in areas suffering from crime. رائدة من قبل ضباط الشرطة في اسيكس صعبة العقارات ، وهي تنشر فرق الاستخبارات الى الامام (نوبات) -- تدريب وحدات لجمع الادله في foxhunts ، احتجاجات ومباريات كرة القدم -- في المناطق التي تعاني من الجريمة.

Last week the Guardian was given unprecedented access to the latest operation on the Five Links estate in Laindon, near Basildon. الاسبوع الماضي كان الولي لم يسبق لها مثيل نظرا الى امكانيه الحصول على احدث عملية على خمس وصلات laindon في الحوزه ، Basildon القريب.
For civil rights groups, the operation is an Orwellian technique that persecutes individuals who have committed no crime. جماعات للحقوق المدنيه ، هو عملية تقنيه اورويلي ان تضطهد من الافراد قد ارتكب اي جريمه. But for police, the “in your face” approach works and, unlike covert surveillance, it requires no special authorisation. ولكن للشرطة ، "في وجهك" ويعمل النهج ، وخلافا للمراقبة خفية ، وهي لا تحتاج الى اذن خاص.

Nicknamed Alcatraz because of its fortress-like appearance, the Five Links estate has high levels of crime. الملقب Alcatraz لما له من القلعة - مثل ظهور ، وخمس وصلات الحوزه في ارتفاع معدلات الجريمة. It is also notoriously hard to police when confronted, suspects easily melt into a web of backstreets that police call “the rat run”. كما انه من المعروف ان من الصعب ان الشرطة عندما يواجه المشتبه فيهم تذوب بسهولة الى شبكة من backstreets الشرطة ان الكلمه "الجرذ البعيد".
During the first afternoon, two youths were reported on the roof of a school and, after a chase, were caught. خلال الفترة الاولى بعد الظهر ، ابلغ عن اثنين من الشبان على سطح مدرسة ، وبعد مطاردة ، واقعة. During patrols the adversarial nature of what one FIT officer called “the hunt” was on show. وخلال دوريات الاعداء طبيعه صالح موظف واحد ما يسمى ب "اصطياد" على العرض. Some officers developed derogatory nicknames for the teenagers they were stopping. بعض الضباط المتقدمه التي تنتقص من الاسماء المستعاره للمراهقين كانوا توقف.
