The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) expressed cautious approval of the technology, which does not identify the owner of the phone but rather the handset’s IMEI code - a unique number given to every device so that the network can recognise it. المفوض الاعلامي مكتب (منظمة البن الدولية) : اعرب عن موافقة الحذر من التكنولوجيا ، التي لا تحدد صاحب الهاتف بل السماعه للقانون imei -- رقم فريد نظرا الى ان كل جهاز بحيث يمكن ان تصل اليه الشبكه في التعرف عليه.
But an ICO spokesman said, “we would be very worried if this technology was used in connection with other systems that contain personal information, if the intention was to provide more detailed profiles about identifiable individuals and their shopping habits.” ولكنه قال متحدث باسم منظمة البن الدولية ، "ويهمنا ان القلق الشديد اذا تم استخدام هذه التكنولوجيا في اطار النظم الاخرى التي تحتوي على معلومات شخصية ، اذا كانت النية لتوفير اكثر تفصيلا لمحات عن التعرف على الافراد وعادات التسوق."
Errr… it is a shopping centre stuffed full of CCTV cameras and private security guards - who seriously believes that this FootPath(tm) snooping will never be used in conjunction with CCTV ? Only the phone network can match a handset’s IMEI number to the personal details of a customer. الا يمكن ان تصل اليه الشبكه عبر الهاتف مطابقه للالسماعه imei لعدد من التفاصيل الشخصيه للعميل.
Path Intelligence, the Portsmouth-based company which developed the technology, said its equipment was just a tool for market research. طريق الاستخبارات ، وبورتسموث على أساس الشركة التي طورت التكنولوجيا ، وقال معداتها كان مجرد اداة لابحاث السوق. “There’s absolutely no way we can link the information we gather back to the individual,” a spokeswoman said. How is it possible to do this with truly anonymous data ? كيف يمكن ان تفعل هذا مع البيانات المجهوله حقا؟ Either there is a “whitelist” of individual authorised staff phones or a “blacklist” of alleged individual “troublemaker” phones, or there is one watchlist database with different status flags. أما هناك "القائمة البيضاء" للهواتف الموظفين المرخص لهم فرادى او "قائمة سوداء" للفرد يدعى "مثير الشغب" الهواتف ، وهناك واحد أو هيئة الرصد مع قاعدة بيانات مركز الاعلام المختلفة.

Illegal to spoof IMEI غير القانوني الى السخريه imei
The first reaction of some of our more technically proficient readers might be to start thinking of ways to devise IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identifier) spoofing devices, to frustrate any such snooping system. اول رد فعل من بعض شركائنا في أكثر من الناحية الفنية قد يكون من القراء لبدء التفكير في طرق لوضع imei (معرف الدولية على المعدات المنقولة (وسائل الغش ، لإحباط اي نظام مثل هذا التطفل.
However, apart from probably disrupting the local mobile phone system for other users, including possible life saving calls to the Emergency Services, this would be illegal in the United Kingdom and punishable by up to 5 years in prison , a serious enough offence to invoke extradition proceedings from abroad, if necessary. غير انه بصرف النظر عن تعطيل وربما المحليين الهاتف النقال لنظام المستخدمين الآخرين ، بما في الامكان انقاذ حياة يدعو الى خدمات الطوارئ وهذا من شأنه ان يكون غير قانوني في المملكه المتحدة وعقوبة يمكن ان تصل الى 5 سنوات في السجن ، وهي جريمه خطيرة بما يكفي الاستناد الى تسليم المجرمين وقائع من الخارج ، اذا لزم الامر.

This badly worded Act criminalises the mere possession of equipment or software (ie a computer and a serial cable or BlueTooth connection) which may be used, or the actual act of changing an IMEI without the written permission of the (usually foreign) handset manufacturer (incredibly, not , the UK based mobile phone network operator),.- هذا ماسة الى صياغه قانون يجرم مجرد حيازه معدات او برامج (اي الحاسوب وكبل او المسلسل ثوتولب) التي يمكن ان تستخدم ، الفعلي او تغيير اي قانون imei دون ترخيص مكتوب من (عادة اجنبية) السماعه الصانع) لا يصدق ، لا ، فان المملكه المتحدة القائمة على مشغل للهاتف النقال) ،.-
This Act has been recently amended to also criminalise simply advertising or offering such an IMEI re-programming service or product. هذا القانون تم تعديله مؤخرا لتجريم ايضا مجرد الاعلان او تقديم مثل هذا imei اعادة برمجة خدمة او منتج.
Note that the stupid wording of this Act also criminalises any spoofing or changing of IP addresses or MAC addresses of BlueTooth or WiFi or internet data connected WAP phones, SmartPhones etc. which connect to the internet via GSM or 3G data services ie most modern mobile phones, PDAs and portable computers which can act as mobile telephones. علما ان من الغباء ان صياغه هذا القانون ايضا يجرم الغش او تغيير اي من عناوين بروتوكول الإنترنت او عناوين لجنة الهدنه العسكرية WiFi او بلوتوث او شبكة الانترنت هواتف الواب بيانات متصله ، وما اليها ، وهي smartphones للاتصال بالانترنت عن طريق جراما في المتر المربع او اي خدمات الجيل الثالث للبيانات احدث الهواتف النقاله ، والحواسيب المحموله وأجهزة PDA التي يمكن ان تكون الهواتف المحموله.
