By通過 Brian Brady布賴恩布雷迪 | Compulsory identity cards could be used to spy on people, MPs warn today. |強制性身份證，可用於間諜對人民，國會議員今天警告。 Members of the Home Affairs Select Committee say they are concerned that the way the authorities use sensitive data gathered in the multibillion-pound programme could gradually “creep” in scope to include covert surveillance.成員民政事務專責委員會說，他們擔心的方式當局使用敏感的數據，聚集在了多磅的方案可以逐步“蠕變”的範圍，以包括秘密監察。
