The Government goes to all the effort of making a website for 16 to 25- year-olds to express their views on identity cards, and all they get in return is a solid mixture of scorn, sneering and scepticism smattered across their fancy new forums. وغني عن الحكومة كل جهد لجعل موقع على شبكة الانترنت لمدة 16 إلى 25 -- من العمر للتعبير عن آرائهم على بطاقات هوية ، والحصول على كل ما هو العودة في صلب مزيج من الازدراء ، والاحتقار والشك تحدث بسطحيه عبر المنتديات خياليه جديدة.

At the beginning of the year, when leaked documents revealed the Government’s proposals for the first stages of the rolling out of the contentious scheme, there was a ripple of discontent from a certain sector of the population. في بداية هذا العام عندما تسربت وثائق كشف عن مقترحات الحكومة لاول مراحل المتداول للخروج من مخطط للجدل ، كان هناك من السخط الموجه من قطاع معين من السكان. In March, the NUS expressed concerns that students would be in effect compelled to join the ID card scheme because they might not be able to gain access to key services – like the student loan system – without one. وفي اذار / مارس ، nus عن قلقه من ان الطلاب سيكون في الواقع مضطرا للانضمام الى مخطط البطاقه الشخصيه لانها قد لا تكون قادرة على الوصول الى الخدمات الاساسية -- مثل نظام القروض الطلابيه -- واحد دون.
The Government however is adamant that this will not be the case: “We will issue identity cards on a voluntary basis to young people from 2010, and there are no plans to make it necessary to hold an identity card to access any services,” a Home Office spokesman said. بيد ان الحكومة هي مصرة على ان ذلك لن يكون الحال : "سوف نصدر بطاقات الهوية على اساس طوعي للشباب في الفترة من عام 2010 ، وانه لا توجد خطط لتجعل من الضروري اجراء بطاقه هوية على الحصول على اي خدمات ،" وقال متحدث باسم وزارة الداخلية.
“Young people who do not have an ID card will still be able to get student loans, and indeed no other public services will be denied just on the basis of whether they have an ID card.” "الشباب من لا يملكون بطاقه هوية وسيظل قادرا على الحصول على قروض الطلبة ، لا بل وغيرها من الخدمات العامة سيتم رفض عادل على أساس ما إذا كانت لديهم بطاقه هوية."
