THOUSANDS of people will be unable to use the new ID cards to prove who they are, an expert has warned. الالاف من الناس لن تكون قادرة على استخدام بطاقات الهوية الجديدة لاثبات من أنها ، وقد حذر احد الخبراء.
Speaking as the Government publish a report on using biometric data on visas, passports and ID cards, Professor John Daugman has warned the failure rate will be massive. كما تحدثت الحكومة نشر تقرير عن استخدام البيانات الاحصاءيه البيولوجية على تأشيرات الدخول وجوازات السفر وبطاقات الهوية ، والبروفيسور جون daugman حذر معدل الفشل ستكون هاءله.
The Cambridge expert said plans to use just fingerprints on the cards to check identities will lead to one in 1000 giving a “false match”. وقال خبير كامبردج خطط لمجرد استخدام البطاقات على بصمات الاصابع للتأكد من هويات سيؤدي الى واحد في 1000 اعطاء "كاذبة المباراة".
It will mean when people try to prove their identities to police or border control staff the details of someone else will flash up on the screen. وسيعني ذلك عندما يحاول الناس لاثبات هوياتهم لرجال الشرطة او موظفي مراقبة الحدود تفاصيل شخص آخر سوف فلاش حتى تظهر على الشاشه.
Shadow home secretary David Davis said: “Gordon Brown pretends ID cards will secure our identities but tens of thousands of people could be falsely accused of not being who they are.” الظل ديفيد ديفيز وزير الداخلية وقال : "غوردون براون وسوف يدعى بطاقات الهوية آمنا هوياتنا ولكن عشرات الآلاف من الاشخاص يمكن ان يكون المتهم زورا بأنها غير من كانوا".
