Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 الاربعاء ، مارس 19th ، 2008 BEIJING - Hu Jia, a human rights activist and commentator, was tried in a Beijing court yesterday on charges of inciting subversion against the Chinese government through his writings on the Internet. بكين -- هيو جيا ، الناشطه في مجال حقوق الانسان والمعلق ، وقد حوكم في محكمة في بكين امس بتهمة التحريض على الفتنة ضد الحكومة الصينية من خلال كتاباته على شبكة الانترنت.
Hu’s lawyer, Li Fangping, said the Beijing No. 1 Intermediate Court would probably hand down its sentence in about a week. المحامي هيو ، fangping لي ، وقال الوسيطه رقم 1 فى بكين المحكمه من المحتمل ان تصدر أعماله في الجمله حوالي اسبوع. His wife, Zeng Jinyan, and their infant daughter, Qianci, were restricted from leaving Hu’s Beijing apartment. زوجته ، زينغ jinyan ، والرضع ابنه ، qianci ، اقتصرت هيو من مغادرة الشقه بكين.
Zeng had worked with her husband on an Internet site that gathered and relayed dissident reporting and opinion on Chinese websites. زينغ عملت مع زوجها على موقع على شبكة الانترنت التي تم جمعها ونقل الابلاغ المنشقه الصينية ورأى على موقع المركز على الانترنت. Human Rights Watch, a US-based advocacy group, denounced the legal proceedings against Hu and said the charges were inconsistent with international law because they sought to punish peaceful criticism of the Chinese political system. مرصد حقوق الانسان ، وهو لنا الدعوة القائمة على المجموعة ، استنكر اجراءات قانونيه ضد هيو وقال ان التهم الموجهة تتعارض مع القانون الدولى لانها تسعى الى معاقبة السلميه الصينية للنقد النظام السياسي.
“Hu Jia’s case has been marked by grave rights violations from the start,” Sophie Richardson, the Asia advocacy director for Human Rights Watch, said in a statement. "هيو جيا قضية ولقد تميز الانتهاكات الجسيمه لحقوق ومنذ البداية ،" صوفى ريتشاردسون ، مدير منطقة آسيا والدعوة لمرصد حقوق الانسان ، قال في بيان. “His arrest was political, the charges are political and his trial is political.” "تم القاء القبض عليه والسياسية والتهم السياسية ومحاكمته سياسية".
Premier Wen Jiabao, in a news conference, denied that Hu’s case was part of a party campaign to put away dissidents in advance of the Olympics. رئيس الوزراء وين جياباو ، في مؤتمر صحافي ، هو نفى ان تكون قضية كانت جزءا من حملة الحزب المنشقين لوضع بعيدا في وقت سابق للاولمبياد. “I can make it very clear to you that China is a country under the rule of law,” he said.
