By بواسطة Leo King الأسد الملك | The Home Affairs Committee has called for a reduction in the unnecessary collection of data on UK citizens. | الشؤون الداخلية ودعت اللجنة الى اجراء تخفيض في لزوم لها جمع البيانات عن المواطنين في المملكه المتحدة. The move comes just weeks after the government shortlisted five IT suppliers on its ID card project and after plans were revealed that it wanted to make a يأتى هذا التحرك بعد اسابيع فقط الحكومة القائمة المختصره وهي خمسة الموردين على بطاقه هوية بعد ان خطط المشروع وكشفت انها تريد تقديم database of all phone calls and emails قاعدة بيانات لجميع المكالمات الهاتفية ورسائل البريد الالكتروني in the UK. في المملكه المتحدة.

In its report, called ‘A Surveillance Society? في تقريرها ، ودعا 'مراقبة المجتمع؟ ‘, the Home Affairs Committee called on the government to “adopt a principle of data minimisation”, and only hold data “for as long as is necessary”. It is “particularly concerned” about attempts to use patient data, or information held on children for the purposes of predictive profiling for future criminal behaviour, and said “the Home Office must not undertake or sponsor work of this sort”. انه "قلق خاص" عن محاولات لاستخدام المريض البيانات ، او المعلومات التي عقدت على الاطفال لاغراض التنبءيه لتحديد ملامح المستقبل السلوك الاجرامي ، وقال "ان وزارة الداخلية يجب ان لا او رعايه هذا النوع من العمل".
It called for “Privacy Impact Assessments” recommended by the Information Commissioner to be used as a risk-analysis tool before surveillance projects are started. ودعت الى "الخصوصيه تقييم الاثر" الذي اوصت به مفوض المعلومات لاستخدامها لتحليل المخاطر قبل أداة مراقبة المشاريع بدأت.
Keith Vaz MP, chairman of the committee, said: “What we are calling for is an overall principle of “least data, for least time”. النائب كيث فاز ، رئيس اللجنة ، وقال : "نحن ندعو الى ما هو شامل لمبدأ" لا تقل عن البيانات ، لاقل البلدان نموا والوقت ". He said the government should not collect more data “just because the technology allows it”, nor should it use the data beyond the purposes it is initially collected for. وقال : لا ينبغي للحكومة ان جمع المزيد من البيانات "لمجرد ان التكنولوجيا تتيح له" ، ولا ينبغي ان تستخدم البيانات وراء الأغراض التي جمعت في البداية ومن ل.
The committee set out what it called ‘ground rules’ in order to prevent “unnecessary surveillance”, and protect citizens’ data. اللجنة المنصوص عليها ما وصفته ب 'القواعد الاساسية' للحيلولة دون "غير ضروريه والمراقبة" ، وحمايه المواطنين البيانات. More secure systems were needed to protect data, it said, as well as contingency plans in the event of biometric information being stolen. اكثر امنا النظم اللازمة لحمايه البيانات ، وقال انه ، فضلا عن خطط طوارئ فى حالة سرقة المعلومات من الهوية.
The government should explicitly address questions being asked around collecting data, including using microphones on security cameras, and it should not routinely use the national identity register to monitor the activities of individuals, the committee said. وينبغي للحكومة ان تعالج المسائل بشكل صريح وسئل حول جمع البيانات ، بما في ذلك استخدام الميكروفونات والكاميرات على الأمن ، وينبغي أن لا يستخدم بصورة روتينيه تسجيل الهوية الوطنية لرصد انشطه الافراد ، وقالت اللجنة.
It also called for the Information Commissioner to provide an annual report on the government’s surveillance projects. كما دعا المفوض الاعلامي لتقديم تقرير سنوي عن الحكومة مراقبة المشاريع.
