正义大臣Bach阁下坚持政府“非常认真”采取了它的义务在数据保护和人权立法下。

他告诉了阁下关于个人数据保留的辩论： “对个人数据的用途为高效率，有效和被加入的公共业务交付是根本的-对滑车罪行，保护公众，并且他们被给权对的帮助人在他们的生活中有对好处的通入，新的机会，对发展和支持。

bach阁下说有“普遍误传”政府的计划为未来全国通信数据库。他补充说： “我们在此将开始我们的未来规划，在短期将被出版的咨询文件。他们未被完成”。

他说报告是不正确的英国的公民海外旅游会必须适用允许于海外旅游或事先递交日程。
