Red Orbit المدار الاحمر | Biometrics is commonly associated retinal scans, iris recognition and DNA databases, but researchers in India are working on another form of biometrics that could allow law enforcement agencies and airport security to recognize suspects based on the way they were, their characteristic gait. | البيولوجيا الاحصاءيه هي مرتبطة مسح الشبكيه ، ايريس الاعتراف والحمض النووى وقواعد البيانات ، ولكن الباحثين في الهند تعمل على شكل آخر من اشكال القياس الحيوي التي يمكن ان تتيح لاجهزة انفاذ القانون والامن في المطارات للاعتراف المشتبه فيهم على اساس طريقة كانت ، والمشيه مميزة. The team reveals details of a comprehensive framework for gait recognition by computer in the inaugural issue of the Inderscience publication, the International Journal of Biometrics. الفريق يكشف عن تفاصيل اطارا شاملا للاعتراف المشيه الحاسوب في الافتتاحية للinderscience مسألة نشر ، المجله الدولية للالبيولوجيا الاحصاءيه.
C. Nandini of the Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology and CN Ravi Kumar of the SJ College of Engineering in Mysore, India, explain that human gait typifies the motion characteristics of an individual. جيم nandini من vidya Vikas معهد للهندسة والتكنولوجيا وCN رافي كومار SJ من كلية الهندسه في Mysore ، والهند ، واوضح ان حقوق المشيه اقتراح نموذج لخصائص الفرد. Viewed from the side, we each have a unique gait that makes us easily recognizable. ينظر اليها من الجانب ، ونحن في كل من فريدة المشيه ان يجعلنا يمكن التعرف عليها بسهولة.
They point out that a camera with a side view can record a set of key frames, or stances, as a person heads for the security desk at an airport, military installation or bank, for instance. ويشير هؤلاء الى ان كاميرا مع الجانب بهدف قادرة على تسجيل مجموعة من الاطر الرئيسية ، أو المواقف ، بأنه الشخص الذي يتوجه لمكتب الامن في مطار ، او منشأة عسكرية البنك ، على سبيل المثال. Key frames over the person’s complete walk cycle, can then be converted into silhouette form and statistical analysis using so-called Shannon entropy, together with height measurements and the periodicity of the gait used to classify the person’s gait. الأطر الرئيسية للشخص على مدى دورة كاملة المشي ، وعندئذ يمكن أن تتحول الى صورة ظليه شكل من اشكال التحليل الاحصائي واستخدام ما يسمى شانون الانتروبيا ، جنبا الى جنب مع قياسات الطول وتواتر المشيه المستخدمة لتصنيف الشخص المشيه.
The gait of individuals checking in at an airport could then be compared with the database, perhaps even before they enter the airport concourse. المشيه من الافراد فى فحص فى مطار ويمكن بعد ذلك مقارنة مع قاعدة البيانات ، وربما حتى قبل دخول المطار الالتقاء. Such data compared with CCTV footage might also be used to track suspect terrorists or criminals who may otherwise be disguising their features or be carrying forged documents. هذه البيانات بالمقارنة مع الدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه لقطات ويمكن ايضا ان تستخدم لتعقب المشتبه فيهم من الارهابيين او المجرمين قد يكون خلاف ذلك او تمويه المصدر غير خصائصها أنها تحمل وثائق مزورة.
The researchers emphasize that gait recognition has a significant advantage over more well-known biometrics, such as fingerprinting and iris scanning in that it is entirely unobtrusive and can be used to identify an individual potentially from a considerable distance. الباحثون ان اؤكد ان المشيه الاعتراف له ميزة هامة على مدى اكثر شهرة الحيويه ، مثل بصمات الاصابع ومسح القزحيه في انه من غير مزعج تماما ويمكن ان تستخدم لتحديد هوية الفرد من المحتمل ان مسافه كبيرة. “The ability to identify a possible threat from a distance gives personnel a longer time frame in which to react before a possible suspect becomes a real threat,” the researchers say. "القدرة على تحديد تهديد محتمل من مسافه يعطي للافراد في اطار زمني اطول في الرد الذي قبل ان يصبح من الممكن المشتبه فيه تهديدا حقيقيا" ، يقول الباحثون.
They carried out initial tests on 20 people recorded walk in a straight line at normal speed and stride, back and forth in front of a video camera placed perpendicular to their path. ونفذت هذه الاختبارات الاولية على 20 شخصا وسجلت السير في خط مستقيم في السرعه العاديه واسعة ، جيءه وذهابا امام آلة تصوير فيديو وضع عمودي بالنسبة الى سواء السبيل. They obtained good recognition rates using the Shannon entropy equation and the individuals’ height. مع حصولهم على معدلات جيدة الاعتراف باستخدام المعادله شانون الانتروبيا والافراد الارتفاع. Recognition performance of the system was sensitive to changes in big viewing angle above ten degrees but was reasonably robust even when the individuals changed walking speed. الاعتراف الاداء للنظام حساسه للتغيرات الكبيرة في زاويه العرض عشر درجات اعلاه ولكنها قوية بدرجه معقولة حتى عندما تغير الأفراد سرعة المشي.
