A council has decided not to install CCTV cameras in a crime-ridden area on the grounds they would “contravene the Human Rights Act”. أ المجلس قد قرر عدم تركيب كاميرات الدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه في الجريمة التي تعصف بها المنطقة على اساس انها "تتعارض مع قانون حقوق الانسان".

Nick Hodgson, the head of property services for the district council, said: “The council was advised that the use of CCTV could contravene the Human Rights Act. نيك هودجسون ، رئيس الممتلكات الخدمات لمجلس المقاطعه ، وقال : "ابلغت المجلس ان استخدام الدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه يمكن ان تتعارض مع قانون حقوق الانسان.
“We also took advice from the police, who indicated the use of CCTV would not aid the legal process and was unlikely to help identify offenders. "ونحن ايضا اخذت المشوره من الشرطة ، والذي أشار الى استخدام الدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه لن المعونة القانونية العملية وكان من غير المحتمل ان يساعد على تحديد المجرمين.
“CCTV is only one of a number of measures to combat anti-social behaviour.” "الدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه ليست سوى واحدة من عدد من التدابير الراميه الى مكافحة السلوك المعادي للمجتمع."
