Schools are to get the Government’s permission to fingerprint all pupils. المدارس للحصول على اذن من الحكومة لبصمة جميع التلاميذ.
Ministers will issue guidance telling them they have the right to install fingerprint scanners and collect biometric data from children as young as five. وزراء ستصدر توجيهات نقول لهم ولهم الحق في تثبيت البصمه والماسحات الضوءيه ، وجمع البيانات الاحصاءيه البيولوجية من الأطفال الذين لا تتجاوز أعمارهم خمس سنوات.
The data could be used to monitor school attendance, control lunch queues and help with the issuing of library books. البيانات التي يمكن استخدامها لرصد الحضور في المدارس ، ومراقبة ومساعدة طوابير الغداء مع صدور كتب المكتبه.
Liberty, the civil rights group, said: “We have some serious concerns that this biometric data is being collected from children simply for administrative convenience. الحرية ، والحقوق المدنيه المجموعة ، وقال : "لدينا بعض القلق الشديد ان هذه البيانات الاحصاءيه البيولوجية ويجري جمعها من الاطفال ببساطة الاداريه للراحة.
“We want to know what happens to the data after the children leave. "نريد ان نعرف ما يحدث للبيانات بعد مغادرة الاطفال. The police have the right to get into any database, private or public.” الشرطة لها الحق في الدخول الى اي قاعدة بيانات ، خاصة او عامة. "
Children, Schools and Families Secretary Ed Balls will outline the guidance in a written statement to MPs today. الاطفال والمدارس والاسر الامين اد كرات سيحدد التوجيه في بيان مكتوب الى النواب اليوم.
It is expected to say that personal data, including fingerprints and eyeball scans, can be collected from pupils, with scanners at the entrance to classrooms, the school gates and in cafeterias. ومن المتوقع ان اقول ان البيانات الشخصيه ، بما فيها بصمات الاصابع ومسح المقله ، ويمكن جمعها من التلاميذ ، مع الماسحات الضوءيه عند مدخل قاعات الدرس ، وأبواب المدارس في المطاعم.
Schools will have to consult parents first and will not be permitted to share the data with outside bodies. المدارس سيتعين التشاور الوالدين أولا وانه لن يسمح لتبادل البيانات مع الهيئات الخارجية. However, it is understood that schools will not have to gain written permission from each parent. ولكن ، ومن المفهوم ان المدارس لن يكون لكسب تصريح كتابي من كل من الوالدين.

Ministers will clarify that data must not be used for anything other than the stated purpose or passed on outside the school. الوزراء سيوضح ان البيانات يجب الا تستخدم لشيء آخر غير الغرض المعلن لاو نقلها خارج المدرسة. Staff must also erase all details when the pupil has left the school. يجب على الموظفين ايضا ان تمحو كل التفاصيل عند التلميذ وقد ترك المدرسة.
However, there are fears that school computers are not secure enough to keep data safe from hackers. ومع ذلك ، هناك مخاوف من ان المدرسة الحواسيب ليست آمنة بما فيه الكفايه لابقاء البيانات آمنة من القراصنه.
