A critical report today should be the last nail in the coffin of the government’s proposed ID cards, said Jenny Willott, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central. تقرير حاسم اليوم ينبغي أن تكون هي آخر مسمار في نعش الحكومة المقترحة بطاقات الهوية ، وقالت جيني willott ، النائب الديمقراطى الليبرالى الويلزيه كارديف للوسط.
The report by the Joint Committee on Human Rights, comes as details, released through the Freedom of Information Act revealed how many of those departments lack basic systems to comply with the Data Protection Act. التقرير الذي اعدته اللجنة المشتركة المعنية بحقوق الانسان ، وتأتي التفاصيل ، من خلال الافراج عن قانون حرية المعلومات وكشفت كم من هذه الادارات الافتقار الى النظم الاساسية للامتثال لقانون حمايه البيانات.
A survey of 14 departments by the British Computer Society published today shower that none of them had statistics of how many errors were on their database, nor had a budget to correct them. مسح 14 الادارات بها جمعية الكمبيوتر البريطانية نشرت اليوم دش ان ايا منهم لم الاحصاءات من كم الأخطاء عن قاعدة بياناتها ، كما ان لديها ميزانيه لتصحيحها.
The loss of 25m child benefit records by the HM Revenue & Customs last year when computer discs were mislaid has hugely dented trust in the government’s ability to look after personal data. فقدان 25m اعانة الطفل سجلات بها جلالة & الايرادات الجمركيه فى العام الماضى عندما كانت أقراص الكمبيوتر مفقود وقد هاءله dented الثقة في قدرة الحكومة على الاعتناء البيانات الشخصيه.
The Ministry of Defence has admitted that more than 11,000 military ID cards have been lost or stolen in the past two years. وزارة الدفاع ، وقد اعترف بأن أكثر من 11000 عسكري بطاقات الهوية قد فقدت او سرقت في السنتين الماضيتين.
Defence minister Bob Ainsworth admitted that 4,433 ID cards disappeared in 2006 and a further 6,812 went missing from July 2006 to December 2007. وزير الدفاع بوب Ainsworth 4433 اعترف بأن بطاقات الهوية اختفت في عام 2006 وآخر 6812 في عداد المفقودين من تموز / يوليو 2006 الى كانون الاول / ديسمبر 2007.

into ‘Data Protection and Human Rights’, Ms Willott sid: “This report should be the last nail in the coffin for ID cards. الى 'حمايه البيانات وحقوق الانسان' ، ماجستير willott SID : "ينبغي ان يكون هذا التقرير اخر مسمار في نعش لبطاقات الهوية. Why should the public trust this Government with the quantity of personal data they would load on to the ID card system, when it has utterly failed to protect far less? لماذا ينبغي ان ثقة الجمهور هذه الحكومة مع كمية من البيانات الشخصيه على انها ستفتح لنظام البطاقه ، وقد تماما عندما فشل في حمايه اقل بكثير؟

“Why has it taken the loss of data affecting 1 in every 3 people for the Government to look again at their security procedures? "لماذا لم تتخذ فقدان البيانات التي تؤثر على 1 في كل 3 اشخاص للحكومة للنظر من جديد في اجراءات أمنها؟ Whatever the outcome of the ongoing review into personal information safeguards, the Government will have to do the miraculous to convince anyone that they know how to fix this systematic problem.” وأيا كانت نتائج الاستعراض الجاري حيز المعلومات الشخصيه الضمانات ، وسيتعين على الحكومة ان تفعل المعجزات لاقناع اي شخص ان أنهم يعرفون كيفية اصلاح هذه المشكلة المنهجيه. "
