President Bush derailed a bill by the US Congress aimed at ending the Administration’s illegal wiretapping by not providing documents related to the President’s warrantless wiretapping program to the Senate Intelligence Committee that is currently reviewing the proposed legislation.美國總統布什出軌一項條例草案，由美國國會旨在結束政府的非法竊聽，不提供有關的文件，以總統的竊聽計劃向參議院情報委員會說，目前正在審查建議的法例。

The US house of representatives last month passed the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 bill with an amendment that makes Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (FISA) the only means by which domestic electronic surveillance for the purpose of gathering foreign intelligence information may be conducted.美國國會眾議院上個月通過的情報授權法案財年與2008年條例草案的修訂，使外國情報監督法案的1978年（參賽指南）的唯一手段，由國內電子偵察為目的的外國情報蒐集的資料，可能會進行。
