Lie detectors will be used to help root out benefit cheats, Work and Pensions Secretary John Hutton has said. كشف كذب وسوف تستخدم للمساعدة على استئصال شأفة تستفيد تغش ، والعمل والمعاشات الأمين لقد قال جون Hutton.
So-called “voice-risk analysis software” will be used by council staff to help identify suspect claims. ما يسمى ب "تحليل المخاطر - صوت البرمجيات" ستستخدم من قبل موظفي المجلس من اجل المساعدة فى تحديد المشتبه فيه المطالبات.

The technology is already used by the insurance industry to combat fraud and will be trialled by Harrow Council, in north London, from May. هذه التكنولوجيا التي تستخدمها بالفعل صناعة التأمين لمكافحة الغش وسيتم trialled المشط بها المجلس ، في شمال لندن ، في الفترة من ايار / مايو.

The BBC’s business reporter John Moylan explained that the system first analyses the characteristics of a caller’s “normal” voice to establish a benchmark. هيئة الاذاعة البريطانية اعمال جون moylan واوضح المراسل ان اول نظام تحليلات الخصائص المميزه للمكالمه "طبيعية" صوت لانشاء المعيار.
This ensures it takes any natural variation, for example due to nerves or shyness, into account. وهذا يضمن ان يأخذ أي شخص طبيعي الاختلاف ، على سبيل المثال بسبب الخجل او الاعصاب ، في الاعتبار.
The software then looks for changes in voice tone and frequency and performs thousands of mathematical calculations to identify signs that someone could be lying. البرمجيات ثم يبحث عن تغيرات في نبرة الصوت وتواتر ويؤدي الالاف من حسابات رياضية لتحديد ما يدل على أن أحدا يمكن الكذب.
Benefits staff can then ask for further evidence to support any suspicious claims. استحقاقات الموظفين ويمكن بعد ذلك نسأل لمزيد من الادله لدعم اي مطالبات المشبوهة.
Callers will hear a standard message before they speak alerting them that the technology is being used. المتصلين سيستمع القياسيه الرسالة قبل ان يتكلم لتنبيههم الى ان التكنولوجيا المستخدمة حاليا.
According to government figures, benefit fraud cost the UK economy about £0.7bn in 2005/06. ووفقا للارقام الحكوميه ، والاستفادة الاحتيال تكلف الاقتصاد في المملكه المتحدة عن 0.7bn جنيه استرليني في 2005/06.
