Η αυστραλιανή αστυνομία χρησιμοποιεί τα εθνικά στοιχεία DNA για να λύσει τα εγκλήματα

Η αστυνομία στην κατάσταση της Αυστραλίας της Νότιας Νέας Ουαλίας έχει αρχίσει μια εθνική βάση δεδομένων DNA για να βοηθήσει να ερευνήσει τα άλυτα εγκλήματα. Η βάση δεδομένων ταιριάζει με τα στοιχεία που συλλέγονται στους τόπους εγκλήματος τα εγκληματικά σχεδιαγράμματα για να ανακαλύψουν τους παραβάτες που μπορεί να είχαν κινήσει διακρατικό.

Ο Υπουργός Δαβίδ Campbell κρατικής αστυνομίας της Νότιας Νέας Ουαλίας λέει ότι η εθνική βάση δεδομένων βοηθά να λύσει τα εγκλήματα σε ολόκληρη την Αυστραλία.

«Αυτό είναι για να αναλυθεί τα κρατικά σύνορα, τη διανομή των πληροφοριών και τη διανομή των στοιχείων για την εγκληματική δραστηριότητα και τα σχεδιαγράμματα DNA εγκληματιών και αυτό σημαίνει ότι είναι δυσκολότερο για τους εγκληματίες να κινηθούν διακρατικός για να αποφύγουν την ανίχνευση.»
