Chatville: The New Way to Communicate
Chatville is taking all of the fun aspects of Facebook and mixing it together with all of the aspects you may be scared to try or simply miss from the classic AOL chatroom days. There is no need to waste all of the effort that you put into Facebook simply on the people that you know, Chatville will allow you to branch out and talk directly to people all over the world without having to allow them access to all of the information that you have available for your friends and family.
The benefit of Chatville is that you are able to have the experience of a chatroom with the added benefit of video. You do not have to be directly connected with everyone that you contact. It is much like a lot of the Facebook games where you can see other individuals and talk with them while participating through typing, except you no longer have to type you can have a streaming video of yourself and simply talk to the other individuals connected in the Chatville app. All you need is a Facebook account, webcam, and internet connection to get started.
Chatville: Getting Started
Getting started with Chatville will seem rather familiar for it works a lot like any other app that you may use through your Facebook account. Below is a step-by-step guide for getting started with Chatville:
1. Log into Facebook
Chatville is powered through Facebook, so while you will need to visit the Chatville page in order to gain access to the program you must be logged into Facebook first.
2. Visit the Chatville Page
You can gain access to Chatville by accessing the Chatville Fanpage. If you happened to have skipped step 1 you will now be prompted to sign-in to Facebook. The Fanpage will provide you with the “Play Game” option or you can go to Chatville.com and register.
3. Grant Permission
Every app that you try to access through Facebook will request the permission to allow access. This means that you have access to the program as well as the program having access to some of your personal information. This could mean that you will begin to get emails about the product or program, or it may be a simple notification that is just letting you know that the people at Facebook will no longer be the only ones that have access to the information that you post on your page.
4. Enjoy the App
You will want to make sure your webcam and microphone are working properly in order to fully enjoy all that Chatville has to offer. You will be able to be connected with up to 4 other people on Chatville at a time. It is not a problem if you do not have a microphone or it simply is not working for
