Computerworld UK Computerworld المملكه المتحدة | The European Commission is testing cross-border electronic identity systems in an effort to create pan-European recognition of the 30 million national ID cards currently used in 13 member states. | اللجنة الأوروبية بصدد اجراء تجارب عبر الحدود هوية النظم الالكترونيه في بذل جهد لتحقيق الاعتراف عموم اوروبا 30 مليون دولار من بطاقات الهوية الوطنية المستخدمة حاليا في 13 دولة من الدول الاعضاء.

The European Commission has announced that EU citizens will be able to prove their identity and use national electronic identity systems - which includes electronic passwords, ID cards, PIN codes and others - throughout the EU, not just in their home country. المفوضية الاوروبية قد اعلنت ان مواطني الاتحاد الاوروبي سوف تكون قادرة على اثبات هويتهم الوطنية واستخدام النظم الالكترونيه الهوية -- التي تتضمن كلمات السر الالكترونيه ، وبطاقات الهوية ، رقم التعريف الشخصي والمدونات وغيرها -- فى جميع انحاء الاتحاد الاوروبى ، وليس فقط في بلدهم الام.

National electronic ID (eID) cards are used by citizens to access a variety of public services such as claiming social security and unemployment benefits or filing tax returns. الهوية الوطنية الالكترونيه (عيد) البطاقات التي يستخدمها المواطنون للوصول الى مجموعة متنوعة من الخدمات العامة مثل الضمان الاجتماعي ويدعون استحقاقات البطاله او تقديم الاقرارات الضريبيه. The plan is to align and link these systems without replacing existing ones. الخطة الى تحقيق الاتساق وربط هذه النظم دون ان تكون بديلا عن القائمة.

The project, called Stork (Secure idenTity acrOss boRders linKed), is being led by the UK Identity & Passport Service and the Government Gateway. المشروع ، ودعا اللقلق (تأمين ربط الهوية عبر الحدود) ، ويجري حاليا بقيادة المملكه المتحدة و هوية وجواز سفر الخدمة بوابة الحكومة.

The Stork project will run for three years and receive €10m funding from the European Commission and an equal contribution from the participating partners. اللقلق سيتم تشغيل المشروع لمدة ثلاث سنوات وتلقى 10 € م بتمويل من اللجنة الاوروبية على قدم المساواة والمساهمة من الاطراف المشاركة.

The European Commission has said the new system would allow citizens to identify themselves electronically in a secure way and deal with public agencies either online or “ideally” from mobile devices. المفوضية الاوروبية قال ان النظام الجديد سيسمح للمواطنين لتعريف أنفسهم الكترونيا في طريقة آمنة والتعامل مع وكالات عامة سواء عبر الانترنت أو "المثالي" من خلال الاجهزه النقاله.

“Electronic Identities do not yet do enough for mobile EU citizens,” said Viviane Reding, Commissioner for Information Society and Media. "الهويات الالكترونيه ، لا تستطيع حتى الان ان تفعل ما يكفي للجوال مواطني الاتحاد الاوروبي ،" وقالت فيفيان reding ، مفوض شئون مجتمع المعلومات ووسائط الاعلام. “By taking advantage of the development in national eID systems and promoting mutual recognition of electronic identities between Member States, this project moves us a step closer to seamless movement between EU countries that Europeans expect from a borderless Single European Market.” "عن طريق الاستفادة من التنمية الوطنية في عيد نظم وتشجيع الاعتراف المتبادل من الهويات الالكترونيه بين الدول الاعضاء ، فان هذا المشروع علينا التحرك خطوة أقرب الى حركة سلسه بين دول الاتحاد الاوروبي ان نتوقع من الاوروبيين بلا حدود السوق الأوروبية الموحدة."

While only 13 of the 27 EU member states are participating in the pilot, the solutions developed and the experience gained by the project team will be shared with all states with the view to establish a number of trans-border pilot projects based on existing national systems. وفي حين ان 13 فقط من ال 27 والدول الاعضاء في الاتحاد الاوروبي المشاركة في التجريبيه ، ووضع الحلول والخبرة المكتسبه من قبل فريق المشروع وسيتم اطلاع جميع الدول مع وجهة النظر الى انشاء عدد من عبر الحدود المشاريع الراءده القائمة على أساس نظم وطنية .
