De doelstellingen de V.S. van de V.N. over vertraging in Syrisch kernbewijsmateriaal

Het hoofd van de kernwaakhond van de Verenigde Naties heeft met woede bij het uit:stellen van Verenigde Staten het doorgeven van intelligentie, na Washington beschuldigd Noord-Korea van het helpen van Syrië om een kernreactor in het geheim te bouwen gereageerd.
Volgens het Centrale Agentschap van de Intelligentie werd de reactor, die deel van een kernwapensprogramma kan uitgemaakt hebben, vernietigd tegen een Israëlische luchtaanvalmaanden vóór zijn voltooiing.
Mohamed ElBaradei, de leider van de Internationale Organisatie voor Atoomenergie, gaf een stijf verwoorde verklaring waarin hij de V.S. en Israël kritiseerde, evenals Syrië uit, die IAEA zouden moeten meegedeeld hebben als het een kernreactor bouwde.
Opmerkend dat IAEA slechts door het beleid van Bush over de kernreactoreis op Donderdag werd geïnformeerdt, zeven maanden na de Israëlische inval, betreurde hij het feit dat de informatie niet aan het agentschap op een „geschikte“ manier was verstrekt.
M. ElBaradei wees ook erop dat, volgens de informatie die door de V.S. wordt verstrekt, de „reactor nog niet operationeel was en geen kernmateriaal was geïntroduceerdg in het“. Volgens een Westelijke diplomaat in Wenen, betekende dat dat als de inspecteurs van de V.N. vroeger waren gealarmeerd, zij de feiten zouden kunnen hebben ter plaatse verifiëren. „Nu gaat niemand ooit zonder twijfel het weten,“ de bovengenoemde diplomaat. In zijn verklaring, kritiseerde M. ElBaradei Israël voor zijn „unilateraal gebruik van kracht“ dat het „gepaste proces van controle“ ondermijnde.
M. ElBaradei werd gezegd om te zijn incensed door het Amerikaanse nalaten om de waakhond van de V.N. over het mogelijke risico van kernproliferatie te informeren toen de Amerikanen van de aard van de plaats in 2006 bewust werden. „Welk soort non-proliferatieregime dit is, wanneer zij aan de maanden komen van IAEA nadat het?“ is gebombardeerd de bovengenoemde diplomaat. De leider van IAEA die ertoe verbindt zich om de informatie van de V.S. „met de ernst te onderzoeken het verdient“.
De beelden die aan de pers na een briefing met gesloten deuren aan de Congrespanelen werden vrijgegeven van de V.S. stelden nieuwe vragen aangezien de datum van de zogenaamde reactorbeelden niet duidelijk was.
Het hoofd van de Syrische kerncommissie werd getoond zich bevindt naast een auto met een Syrische nummerplaat met het hoofd van de reactor Yongbyon van Noord- van Korea, dat het plutonium van de wapensrang heeft gemaakt. But there was no indication of the date. American officials told reporters that their suspicions were raised because of the secrecy surrounding the project, in comments that had echoes of the Iraq weapons of mass destruction fiasco.
Israel, the only nuclear power in the Middle East, refused to comment on the matter. Syria continued to deny the charges as “ridiculous”, although the reactor images were described as “compelling” by the American nuclear expert David Albright. But he added that the lack of other facilities “has to give pause before accusing Syria of having an active weapons programme”.
Syria accused the Bush administration of having been “apparently party to the execution” of the air raid. An American official said Washington did not give Israel any “green light” to strike the area, although The New York Times reported that there had been extensive discussions between the US and Israel before the raid on 6 September last year.
“It’s sheer fabrication,” said the spokesman for the Syrian embassy in London, Jihad Makdissi, adding that the reactor images showed a deserted military building. “The CIA giving testimony is the same CIA that briefed Colin Powell who spoke at the UN Security Council about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.”
Asked about the photograph of the scientists, Mr Makdissi pointed out that “Syria and North Korea have economic relations. This person was not smuggled into Syria – did you see a nuclear rocket in his hands?”
The impact on North Korea’s nuclear disarmament commitments at six-party talks remained unclear last night. The chief US negotiator, Christopher Hill, said that the co-operation between Syria and North Korea was no longer active, suggesting that the Bush administration had already turned the page.

ReplyTrust me Steve you are not paranoid… We are dealing with international terrorists and war criminals in the shape of our greedy governments… A coalition is being put together by south American and Eastern governments to wage war against the west….. They are going to succeed as GOOD WILL PREVAIL OVER EVIL AT ALL TIMES… Our muppet governments just don’t know it yet.

The U.S. may have not been directly involved but indirectly they were . Why ? . Well who do you think supplies ISRAEL with its weapons ? . The U.S. does as well as the U.K. , i think that its the height of hypocrisy that the west and israel can have nuclear facilities but god forbid that anyone else tries the same , that is unless they first get the blessing from the U.S. and its lapdog the U.K. Also i find the delay in giving over the information just a little suspicious , almost as if the U.S. had something to hide or is that just me being a little bit too paranoid ??? .
