Russian President Vladimir Putin reaffirms his opposition to controversial US plans to install a missile defense shield in central Europe. الرئيس الروسى فلاديمير بوتين من جديد معارضته لخطط الولايات المتحدة للجدل لاقامة درع الدفاع الصاروخى فى اوروبا الوسطى.

“Our fundamental attitude toward the American plan has not changed,” Putin said at a news conference with Bush at his vacation house at this Black Sea resort, AP reported. "لدينا الاساسية حيال الخطة الامريكية لم تتغير ،" وقال بوتين فى مؤتمر صحفى مع بوش في اجازته في هذا البيت البحر الاسود اللجوء ، أب الابلاغ عنها. “We got a lot of way to go,” Bush said. "حصلنا على الكثير من الطريق الذي يجب ان نسلكه ،" وقال بوش.

The declaration came after US president George W. Bush and Putin ended their last face-to-face meeting. جاء بعد اعلان الرئيس الاميركي جورج دبليو بوش وبوتين المنتهيه في اجتماعهم الأخير وجها لوجه الاجتماع.

The US plans to site elements of its planned missile defense shield in Poland and the Czech Republic. تخطط لها امريكا لعناصر الموقع من المخطط له درع الدفاع الصاروخي في بولندا والجمهورية التشيكيه. Moscow says it could undermine Russia’s strategic nuclear deterrent. موسكو تقول انها يمكن ان تقوض روسيا الردع النووي الاستراتيجي.

Bush reiterated his insistence that the plan — designed to intercept and destroy approaching ballistic missiles at high altitudes — should not be viewed as a threat to Russia. وكرر بوش اصراره على ان خطة -- المصممه لاعتراض وتدمير الصواريخ الباليستيه تقترب من علو مرتفع -- لا ينبغي أن ينظر اليها على انها تشكل تهديدا لروسيا. In a clear reference to Iran, he said the system would help protect Europe from “regimes that could try to hold us hostage.” في اشارة واضحة الى ايران ، وقال ان هذا النظام من شأنه ان يساعد في حمايه اوروبا من "الانظمه التي يمكن ان تحاول اجراء لنا رهينه".

“I view this as defensive, not offense,” Bush said. "اننى اعتبر هذا النحو الدفاعيه ، لا المخالفه ،" وقال بوش. “And, obviously, we’ve got a lot of work to convince the experts this defense system is not aimed at Russia.” "، وبطبيعة الحال ، فقد جاءتنا الكثير من العمل لاقناع الخبراء هذا نظام دفاعي لا يستهدف روسيا."
Putin’s remarks referred to offers by the US to give Russian officers access to the sites, and not to activate the system until Iran tests an intercontinental missile capable of reaching Europe and the US. بوتين الملاحظات المشار اليها عروض من قبل الولايات المتحدة لاعطاء الضباط الروس من الوصول الى المواقع ، وعدم تفعيل نظام ايران حتى اجراء التجارب الصاروخيه للقارات قادرة على الوصول الى اوروبا والولايات المتحدة.

Despite the impasse, the two leaders agreed that Moscow and Washington would work together closely in the future on missile defense and other difficult issues. على الرغم من هذا المأزق ، واتفق الزعيمان على ان موسكو وواشنطن في شأن العمل معا بشكل وثيق فى المستقبل بشأن الدفاع الصاروخى وقضايا اخرى صعبة.

The two leaders also signed a nine-page strategic framework aimed at keeping relations between their countries on an even keel. الزعيمان ايضا وقعت تسع صفحات الاطار الاستراتيجي تهدف الى ابقاء العلاقات بين بلديهما على احد حتى عارضة القعر.
