i never watch cnn , for some reason it was on the evening of 9-08-08. Mccain was speaking to a crowd in one of the battleground states and i have to say i was so shocked by what he said - i hit rewind taped it and wrote his words down exactly as i heard them- this is what he sadi
“i believe i can inspire a generation of americans to serve a cause greater than themselves ” j, mcain 9-8-08
That sounds like he plans to reinstate the draft and i can’t believe the media is not reporting that ! i am sure if america heard that - i mean really heard those words and understood the meaning - he and palin would loose a healthy amount of support .

You’re aware, I take it, of the fact that the same fearmongering was advanced last election? No less than a Democratic Senator insisted in an op/ed that Bush “will have to restart the draft.” Experience has outed the lie. Four years ago, it was a lie designed to whip up votes for the Democratic party. Today, see above.
