In his speech on Thursday, Bush wasted little time before getting to the ominous subject of Iran. فى خطابه الذى القاه يوم الخميس ، واهدر بوش متسع من الوقت قبل الوصول الى المشءومه موضوع ايران.
Time and time again, he lumped the alleged threat from Iran in the same breadth as the one from Al Qaeda, once again fusing enemies in the minds of the American people. ومرة تلو الاخرى ، وقال انه مكوم التهديد المزعوم من ايران في نفس اتساع بوصفها واحدة من القاعده ، مرة اخرى الصمامات اعداء في اذهان الشعب الامريكى.
“Serious and complex challenges remain in Iraq, from the presence of Al Qaeda to the destructive influence of Iran,” he said, even before declaring that the surge has “renewed and revived the prospect of success.” "خطيرة ومعقدة لا تزال هناك تحديات في العراق ، من وجود تنظيم القاعده على المدمره نفوذ ايران" ، وقال : حتى قبل ان يعلن ان الطفره قد "وتجديد واحياء احتمالات النجاح."
A little later, he said, “Iraq is the convergence point for two of the greatest threats to America in this new century: Al Qaeda and Iran.” (Bush has now elevated Iran over China as the looming threat of the century!) بعد قليل ، قال : "ان العراق هو نقطة التقاء لاثنين من أكبر الأخطار التي تهدد امريكا فى هذا القرن الجديد : القاعده وايران." (بوش الآن وقد رفعت ايران على الصين كما تلوح في الافق تهديد من هذا القرن!)
And in the next paragraph, he said, “If we succeed in Iraq after all that Al Qaeda and Iran have invested there, it would be a historic blow to the global terrorist movement and a severe setback for Iran.” وفي الفقره التالية ، وقال : "اذا نجحنا في العراق بعد كل ذلك القاعده وايران قد استثمرت هناك ، فإنه سيكون بمثابة ضربة تاريخية لحركة الارهاب العالمي ونكسه شديدة لايران".
Al Qaeda-Iran, Al Qaeda-Iran, Al Qaeda-Iran. القاعده - ايران ، والقاعده - ايران والقاعده وايران. That is the chant emanating from the White House. وهذا هو الانشوده الصادرة عن البيت الابيض.
But Bush was not content to be subtle about his belligerence toward Iran. الا ان بوش لم يكن ليكون محتوى خفية حول دعوته للعدوانيه تجاه ايران.

“The regime in Tehran also has a choice to make,” Bush said. "نظام الحكم في طهران ايضا لجعل الاختيار ،" وقال بوش. “It can live in peace with its neighbor, enjoy strong economic and cultural and religious ties. "ويمكن ان تعيش فى سلام مع جارتها ، تتمتع الاقتصادي القوي والروابط الثقافيه والدينية. Or it can continue to arm and train and fund illegal militant groups, which are terrorizing the Iraqi people and turning them against Iran. أو أنها يمكن ان تستمر في تسليح وتدريب وتمويل الجماعات المسلحه غير المشروعة ، التي هي ارهاب الشعب العراقي وتحول لهم ضد ايران. If Iran makes the right choice, America will encourage a peaceful relationship between Iran and Iraq. اذا كانت ايران يجعل من الاختيار الصحيح ، فان امريكا سلمي تشجيع العلاقات بين ايران والعراق. Iran makes the wrong choice, America will act to protect our interests, and our troops, and our Iraqi partners.” ايران يجعل من غير اختيار ، امريكا سوف تعمل من اجل حمايه مصالحنا ، وقواتنا ، ونحن شركاء العراقي ".
By “America will act,” Bush is making damn clear that he intends to go ahead and bomb Iran. "سوف تعمل امريكا و" بوش هو جعل اللعنه واضحا أنه يعتزم المضي قدما لايران والقنبله.
We can keep telling ourselves that Bush wouldn’t be so foolish as to widen the war to Iran when the one in Iraq is going so badly. يمكننا ان نقول لانفسنا بان تبقى بوش لن يكون ذلك الأحمق كما لتوسيع نطاق الحرب الى ايران عندما واحد يجري في العراق بشدة. But foolishness has never stopped him before. وقد احمق ولكن لم تتوقف أبدا له من قبل.
Regard his words. كلماته الصدد.
They put not only Tehran on notice. وضعوا طهران ليس فقط على الاخطار.
They put Congress and the American people on notice. وضعوا الكونغرس والشعب الامريكى على اخطار.
This man is planning on waging another illegal war, and we need to do all that we can, nonviolently, to stop him. هذا الرجل هو التخطيط على شن حرب اخرى غير مشروعة ، ويتعين علينا ان نفعل كل ما بوسعنا ، بشكل سلمي ، لايقافه.
