Gordon Brown is bringing Britain’s political system into disrepute by refusing to hold a referendum on the EU Reform Treaty, the Tories have claimed. غوردون براون هو جعل النظام السياسي في بريطانيا الى سمعة برفضها لاجراء استفتاء حول اصلاح معاهدة الاتحاد الاوروبي ، وقد ادعى المحافظون.

The accusation from William Hague, the Shadow Foreign Secretary, came as MPs of all parties lined up to demand a national vote before new powers are transferred to Brussels. الاتهام من ويليام لاهاي ، ظل وزير الخارجية ، كما جاء النواب من جميع الاطراف اصطف على الطلب وطنى قوى جديدة للتصويت قبل نقلهم الى بروكسل.

Launching the five-week ratification process, David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, denied the Treaty would mean any substantial transfer of power from the UK parliament and courts to Europe. اطلاق خمسة اسابيع عملية التصديق ، miliband ديفيد ، وزير الخارجية ، ونفى المعاهدة يعني اي نقل للسلطة كبيرة من المملكه المتحدة الى البرلمان والمحاكم اوروبا.

“My case to this House is that this Treaty does not constitute fundamental constitutional change,” he said. "بي الحال الى هذا البيت هو ان هذه المعاهدة لا تشكل الاساسية للتغيير الدستوري ،" قال.

He made clear he believed Tony Blair, the former Prime Minister, had been wrong to promise to hold a referendum in 2004 on the Constitutional Treaty, the predecessor to the Reform Treaty, which should also have been left to Parliament to approve. وأوضح انه يعتقد توني بلير ، رئيس الوزراء السابق ، كان خاطئا لوعد باجراء استفتاء في عام 2004 على المعاهدة الدستورية ، والسلف الى اصلاح المعاهدة ، والتي ينبغي ايضا قد تركت الى البرلمان للموافقة.
