Trump's riot prediction outrageous: Kasich

US presidential hopeful John Kasich has described Republican rival Donald Trump’s prediction of riots if the billionaire does not win the party’s nomination as “outrageous.”

“When he says that there could be riots, that’s inappropriate,” the Ohio governor said during an interview, which will be broadcast on Sunday.

“While we have our differences and disagreements, we’re Americans. Americans don’t say, ‘Let’s take to the streets and have violence,'” he stated.

Trump, who has never held elected office, is leading the Republican race and has so far won 19 primary contests. Ted Cruz has won contests in eight states while Kasich has only clinched victory in Ohio.

Trump won in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Hawai, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, the Northern Mariana Islands, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Vermont.
