US Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is leading two of his competitors in their home states, besting Senator Marco Rubio in Florida and Governor John Kasich in Ohio, according to new polls.
The billionaire businessman holds 41 percent to Kasich’s 35 percent in Ohio, and in Florida, Trump leads Rubio 40 percent to 24 percent, the CNN/ORC polls show.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz is in third with 15 percent support in Ohio, and stands at 19 percent in Florida.

The results, released on Wednesday, came less than a week from the March 15 contests in those states as well as in Illinois, North Carolina and Missouri.
