Trump adviser Gorka: No full-on war in Syria, ‘this is not the Bush administration’

Deputy assistant to the president Sebastian Gorka gave an interview on The Laura Ingraham Show on Friday where he made it clear to supporters of the president that last weeks strike on Syrian government forces was a limited strike and does not at all represent a move towards neo-conservatism by President Donald Trump.

“It’s not a modification,” Gorka said. “This isn’t 2003, this isn’t 1991 and the Gulf War, and the president has not changed one bit. This is not the Bush administration and it is not neoconservatism.”

From LifeZette:

Gorka blasted the notion that a limited Tomahawk missile strike in any way precipitates full-on intervention.

“It makes no sense — the idea that we are mired in something when we take an action that last 15 minutes,” Gorka said. To compare it with Iraq or Afghanistan “is just a salacious analogy … we are not mired in anything,” Gorka said.

Trump’s decision to attack Syria is, according to Gorka, motivated not by a desire to dive headfirst into the Syrian swamp, but a desire to project American power.

Gorka explained how he believed the strike on Syria was meant to show strength to Russia and China.

“Think about what happened since then, Vladimir Putin didn’t want to meet with us, well he did,” said Gorka, speaking of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s recent meeting with Russian President Putin in Moscow.

He also pointed out China’s recent decision to suspend coal imports from North Korea.

“These are not accidental issues,” said Gorka. “This is the master of the art of the deal.”

SO, the revolving door policy of Trumps Gov. and minions, whom was flip flopping aka like an turbo fan akaka jet engine, stated something, serious, and oh…… and how shall anyone deal with whatever, anyone/thing manages to create of verbalized, at least similar some noise bytes that sounds like words and they may equally have changed their mind all ready, for what we know, based solely upon the last 3 months of experience.
    Yeah, fake news, huh.
And how long time span can we give this “comennt”, based upon previous expiriences, huh, 30 seconds, 15 min, or maybe an full hour.
Stay tuned, we may never know.

This is as one like me, turning to see down the toilet to see of there is some gold nuggets drooping of when I have an cable done.

Until, this Gov. witch we know is totally rotten, lies about everything, and bombs others so they can feel good, done something, and this shoot gun wedding tactics whom obviously Trump is an fan of is to me, an sing of degenerating intelligence and morale, and above all, not impressing.
Change to negotiating position by mere threats is the way the Mafia works, not real politics.

No, to me, your state have gone rough, violent and driven by greed.
    Thats it.
Credibility, whom the f…… cares about that in an post-fake news world, truth, hee, whats that.

The only good thing wankers can do it go home, you have an bedside that is in full flames, and instead of doing something about that, you continue to create more fires by simply pouring gasoline into it.
And we can summarize it into one short meme, I dont believe jack shit, and actions tells me more than mere sound bytes uttered by an minor neo-con whore.

Gorka should recognise that the US cannot decide which actions will lead to full on war. There is more than one side to any war and if the Syrian government launched retaliatory strikes, what then?

  • Zaphod Braden

    President Trump,
ISIS never runs out of ammunition or explosives. ………….. WHY?!
“our” Generals have not destroyed those who are supplying ISIS ………… WHY?!
That is the FIRST thing a general that WANTS TO WIN a war does ….. cut off enemy supplies. Time to clean out the Traitors.

    • John Jones

Because they are our friends and clients.

      • Zaphod Braden

        Killing OUR Troops.

      • Nagalese

Trump has called up MORE troops and put them on the ground than even Obama. He is just doing it by stealth. Every other POTUS made deployments, public. Trojan Horse Trump is lying again. Syria is and was from the start a FULL ON invasion of NATO US EU UN’s ISIS mercs to overthrow Assad. Now US troops getting ever more directly involved by the 10s of 1000s.
They are just keeping it secret. We are entering a fascist America most never thought possible. Martial Law will be enacted- tho not publicly declared.
All enabled by apathetic Americans who refused to resist it

        • John Jones

Funny thing is that the other NATO countries seem to be spoiling for a fight too. Trump has suddenly become much more acceptable to Europeans since he became aggressive. Strange times we live in.

    • Tedx

Are you suggesting our generals should destroy the US Government?

  • This is the Rothschild administration as usual

  • John Hankinson

    Yeah right, we’ll see!

  • Angel Talarico

If Trump doesn’t unbrick and ‘clean out’ his administration soon he will loose all goodwill and credibility he gained during the election.

    • Jake Frizzell

Completely agreed. Have nothing to add other than Trump brought in ‘family members’ will are detrimental to his administration.

  • voteallthefkersout

    Damage control

  • lone ranger

50 some cruise missiles aren’t really a “full on” war. Really ? Is that denial or delusion ?

    • Stop Bush and Clinton

I wonder what Trump would be saying if someone had fired 50 some cruise missiles at the White House. That would be a good test to see if he think’s that’s a “full on” war or not.

  • Tedx

You can thank the uncompromising critics who jumped off the Trump train, screaming “Traitor!” for the administration’s back-peddling on war with Syria. The fifi conservatives like the 66 percent who voted in favor of Trump’s decision to bomb Syria on the Drudge Report online poll only encouraged Trump to adopt Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy.
Once the Trump administration learned he was loosing his base, they scratched their heads and decided to go back to the platform that got Trump elected, rather than listen to the libtard chick who sells clothing fashions and her Mossad husband who have no business being within a mile of the White House.

  • gmatch

That orange punk gets 2 year and than he can be easily impeached. Trump is the Mafia in the White House.

  • Jo Syphus

This was a stroke of American genius. Now Russians have a pretext to bolster their S300 and S400 batteries to make it impossible for Israel to bomb Syria. Intact Russian jews won this one.
