The United States is the protector of Israeli aggression and its foreign policy clearly identifies with perpetrators of crimes, rather than its victims, according to Myles Hoenig, an American political analyst and activist.
Hoenig, a former Green Party candidate for Congress, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Friday while commenting on US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s recent statement about Israel.
Haley said on Thursday that Washington will “unquestionably veto” a UN draft resolution calling for the protection of Palestinians in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.
After initially deciding to delay action on the measure, the Security Council was expected to finally go ahead with the vote at 7:00 pm (2300 GMT) on Friday.
