Following the US midterm congressional elections, President Donald Trump is morphing into a Mussolini-style autocrat is becoming fixed, according to Myles Hoenig.
The American political analyst and activist said that Trump’s “bluster, megalomania, and racism has come fully to the fore and we’re in very difficult and frightening times heading into the new Congress.”
Hoenig, a former Green Party candidate for Congress, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Thursday after Americans voted in the 2018 midterm elections that marked the first major voter test of Trump’s presidency.
Trump on Wednesday hailed “tremendous success” in the mid-term elections despite losing the House of Representatives to the Democrats in the November 6 vote. The Republicans, however, consolidated their grip on the Senate.
