PressTV-‘Review of US policy towards S Arabia is political’

The United States House Foreign Affairs Committee’s plan to conduct a review of US policy towards Saudi Arabia is “more political than actual concern about American foreign policy”, according to a former US diplomat.  

“It is interesting that the incoming chairman of the United States House Foreign Affairs Committee has planned to conduct a thorough review US policy towards Saudi Arabia, including ties between senior White House adviser Jared Kushner and Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, says former US diplomat J. Michael Springman. 

Springman told Press TV in an interview on Tuesday that it was also interesting that the move takes place at a time when the House of Representatives is changing hands with a democratic majority.
