Multiple people are shot dead in a shooting at Santa Fe High School in the US state of Texas, US media reports have said.
Police arrested a shooter and another suspect on Friday morning following the shooting that left at least eight people dead and several others injured at Santa Fe High School, which is on lockdown.
Police were arrived at scene after shots fired at the school, which is about 40 miles (65km) south of Houston, according to school officials.
The injured people have been transported victims to local hospitals.
The school released the following statement about the incident at the morning.
“This morning an incident occurred at the high school involving an active shooter. The district has initiated a lockdown. We will send out additional information as soon as it is available.”
