People Living in Fear Can't Be Left to Fight Alone

Sofia Arias: Could you tell us more about how you decided to become an organizer?

Janice Hoseine: For the past two years, my husband has been fighting his deportation. I started off thinking that I could do it by myself. I reached out to a friend of mine who told me that I should contact the New Sanctuary Coalition. Her friend was also facing deportation, and the New Sanctuary Coalition was able to stop his deportation.
