The London teen who sparked online outrage when a video of him petting a cat before viciously booting it into the air has been arrested.
Over 1.5 million disgusted viewers denounced the shocking display of animal cruelty when it was posted by the offender’s friend on Facebook on Monday, according to the Mail Online.
As the video was shared across numerous social media sites, many users called for the “heartless” man’s arrest.
Police in south-east London confirmed on Thursday that a 16-year-old boy had been arrested on Wednesday evening on suspicion of animal cruelty after the footage was brought to their attention.
