Gordon Brown has begun secret talks with other world leaders on far-reaching reform of the United Nations Security Council as part of a drive to create a “new world order” and “global society”. غوردون براون قد بدأت محادثات سرية مع غيرهم من زعماء العالم بشأن اصلاح واسع النطاق لمجلس الامن للأمم المتحدة كجزء من حملة لانشاء "نظام عالمي جديد" و "المجتمع العالمي".

The UN Security Council’s membership has remained virtually unchanged since it first met in 1946. الامم المتحدة عضوية مجلس الأمن ظلت دون تغيير تقريبا منذ ان اجتمع للمرة الاولى في 1946.

Great Britain, the United States, the then Soviet Union, China and France were designated permanent members of the UN’s most powerful body. بريطانيا العظمى ، الولايات المتحدة ، الاتحاد السوفياتي آنذاك ، والصين وفرنسا وتم تعيين الاعضاء الدائمين في الأمم المتحدة أقوى الهيءه.
