Más engaño: BBC admite manipular la cantidad de las noticias

El BBC ha admitido agregar el sonido de los bebés que gritaban a la cantidad de los quintuplets llevados a una mujer rusa. La cantidad original, distribuida por un hospital de Oxford de las cinco muchachas, no tenía ningún audio.
Pero cuando la historia funcionó en el desayuno de BBC los clips tenían sonido, aun cuando los bebés tenían respiradores en sus bocas.
“Aunque no creemos que los espectadores fueron engañados materialmente, no debemos haber agregado el sonido a estos cuadros,” una declaración de BBC dicha.
Other broadcasters including Sky and ITN ran clips of the footage without audio.
A BBC spokesman said the corporation should have left the footage alone: “We received the film without sound and on reflection we should have kept it that way.”
The sound was removed from the story by the Six O’Clock News bulletin after it was commented upon by the hospital.
The admission follows a series of recent broadcasting scandals over authenticity.
