Met Police to pilot Tasers اجتمع الشرطة الى رائدة مسدسات الصعق

The governing body of the Metropolitan Police yesterday gave approval for Tasers to be issued to non-firearms-trained police in a pilot scheme beginning next month. هيئة ادارة شرطة العاصمة امس أعطت موافقة لمسدسات الصعق التي ستصدر الى غير الناريه شرطة مدربة في مخطط نموذجي بداية الشهر المقبل. Similar trials are already underway with other UK police forces. محاكمات مماثلة هي بالفعل حاليا مع غيرها من قوات الشرطة في المملكه المتحدة.
“Members [of the Met Police Authority] raised legitimate concerns about broadening the use of Taser to routine policing,” said Cindy Butts, MPA deputy chair. "اعضاء [من اجتمعت هيئة الشرطة] اثارت شواغل مشروعة حول توسيع نطاق استخدام taser لمراقبة روتينيه ،" قالت سيندي اهداف ، ميغاباسكال نائبة للرئيسة.
“We remain worried about the message this sends out to London’s communities about the escalation of confrontation and need further reassurance that vulnerable people… will not be adversely affected. “However… Without the Met participating, this authority will be unable to influence a final decision about future use of the Taser. "… ولكن دون ان التقي المشاركة ، وهذه السلطة لن تكون قادرة على التأثير على قرار نهائي حول الاستفادة مستقبلا من taser.
“Consequently, today we agreed that the Met participates in the trial with the following rider: I will lead an MPA working group, working with the Met to jointly monitor and evaluate the trial… "ونتيجة لذلك ، اليوم واتفقنا على انه اجتمع يشارك في المحاكمه مع رايدر التالية : انني سوف يؤدي وجود ميغاباسكال الفريق العامل ، والعمل مع اجتمعت معا لرصد وتقييم محاكمة…
“We want to move forward and influence the national debate. "نريد ان نمضي قدما والسعي الى التأثير على النقاش الوطني. Our concerns have not gone away, nor have they been answered… We will monitor these areas rigorously and ensure that the experiences of London influence national policy for the good.” اهتماماتنا ولم تمض بعيدا ، كما انها لم تكن الاجابه… ونحن سوف يرصد بدقة هذه المناطق وضمان ان تجارب لندن تأثير سياسة وطنية من اجل الخير ".
The MPA has agreed to let the Met deploy Tasers in the hands of non-firearms police only on the third time of asking. فان ميغاباسكال قد وافقت على السماح بنشر اجتمع مسدسات الصعق في ايدي غير الاسلحة الناريه على الشرطة الا مرة الثالثة من سؤال. On two previous occasions MPA members were “dissatisfied” with the level of information provided. في مناسبتين سابقتين ميغاباسكال اعضاء "مستاء جدا" مع مستوى المعلومات المقدمة.
